Works Great for ð³
Haven’t used it for intended purpose yet, but so far it works really well with my ð³ cart. The battery lasts ridiculously long! I’ve been using it every night for a couple weeks, at least, and haven’t needed to recharge it once thusfar. I don’t even have to turn it off between uses. I’m very impressed!

Perfect for quickly installing threaded inserts into 3D prints
I love the portability of my TS100… but I still need to get out the power adapter and plug it in. The ELMCONFIG Cordless Soldering Iron Kit 1000mah is even better, and makes quick and easy work for small tasks like installing threaded inserts into 3D prints. Just click the button 5 times to turn it on and within seconds it’s hot enough to start plunging the inserts. No longer must I locate the adapter, unwind the cord, crawl under my desk to plug it in & just to have to reverse everything after only a minute’s worth of work.I’ve used it only a few times, thus far, but will update should I encounter any issues. So far, so good.

Battery works well
I used the battery for an herbal cartridge. Charge lasts a long – made it through two carts before a recharge was required.I did mess with the soldering iron part a bit, and it works. But with no temperature control and a small thermal mass its usefulness may be a little limited.

Good product idea but needs improvement
It does work and yes you can use this soldering iron without a cord however it does not get hot enough to melt the solder near the tip of the iron and it was missing soldering wire + sponge in package, I may have gotten a iron that had something wrong with it but overall I do not see much use most of the time when needing to actually solder. Great idea for potential future variations though, I can see a potential version 2 or 3 really being great. This is really only good if you need to solder something small on the go and need to be able to use it as a last resort.

Doesn’t work
Took it out of the box, let it charge… indicator light on bottom is green when plugged in, showing it’s charged. Won’t turn on at all when I unplug it and attempt to turn it on

Was not used for intended purpose ð¨
I bought this for something other than soldering. It seems like it works great, but the only thing I noticed is That I was going through the carts, faster than usual. So I thought maybe that heat was too high but the problem is there is no heat adjustment So as long as youâre OK with that, it works great otherwise!

big, smooth & can beat a ho lungs fridk if it comes charged cause i charged it for a bit before usingâonly the bottom of the battery has a small light telling u its battery lifeclick x5 to lock/unlockclick + hold to preheat2nd pic is with the ð screwed on as well, good for keeping the oil contained if it spills
