Love It

It’s decent..
Not as good as the leading brand but it heats pretty quick and will solder fairly thick wire and the tip still stays hot. The tips do deteriorate faster than some leading brands and there isn’t as large a selection to choose 9oqfrom nor included in the kit but for typical heavier soldering this will work. Watch out for the hot exhaust of any butane torch.

It gets hot
I purchased this primarily for working with heat shrink tubing and Solder butt connectors when working on repairs in the field or when electricity is not available. This gets hot, it will melt the solder rings in the butt connectors, and if your not careful it will burn through the connector. The head shield works well for when you are in tight spaces and unable to get to the back of the wire your working with.

This little kit is excellent for soldering. Until I got this I was using a corded pencil that took forever to warm up. This one heats up in 30 seconds and gets way hotter than the corded ones. It also has an adjuster to vary the temperature as needed. The way it adapts to a heat gun or mini torch is great for using on heat shrink. It also comes with a few different tips, and everything fits snugly into the blown plastic case. My only complaint is that the tips are kind of small and it would be nice to have a slightly wider spade tip for those larger wires, but the small tips still seem to work just fine. For the price, this thing can’t be beat.

Build quality is unmatched at this price. If you get it on sale even better. There is zero play inf the body of this device. No wiggle, no rattle, no flex. Very impressed and should last a lifetime.
