ALL PURPOSE – The BLUEFIRE HT-1933 is a powerful and portable soldering torch station that meets all your needs! Whether you’re a professional or a DIYer, if you need to tackle precision projects requiring higher temperatures than standard butane soldering torches, this is the ideal tool for you. Ideal for brazing torch kit applications and more.
ACCESSORIES – The HT-1933 comes equipped with a 3′ long hose, giving you ample space to move around while working. It is manually ignited for a more traditional and reliable start, and a FREE flint spark lighter is included! You can also check our store for interchangeable soldering Iron heads designed specifically for this torch, making it an all purpose tool for almost all working needs, including use as a jewelry torch.
FUEL VERSATILE – Compatible with all portable fuel gases on the market, such as MAPP, MAP/Pro, and Propane, this propane torch head with igniter is your versatile go-to for any project.
HOTTER & EASIER – This torch operates using propane or MAPP bottles with a USA standard CGA600 connection. Much hotter than butane, it can reach higher temperatures, making it ideal for more challenging tasks, including welding torch applications.
LONGER RUNNING TIME – With USA standard fuel cylinders, the running time for this torch is significantly longer. For example, with a 14.1 oz MAP pre-filled cylinder, this torch can run for more than 6 hours without the need for frequent refills. NO MORE FREQUENT REFILLS REQUIRED! This makes it perfect for use in any map gas torch kit.
BEST WITH MAPP – For optimal performance, we highly recommend using our BLUEFIRE Modern MAPP Gas with this torch. Check our store to purchase the best fuel for your brazing torch kit, pencil torch, or jewelry torch needs.
Customers find the blowtorch functional and suitable for small jobs. It has a nice working point and good heat capacity. However, some have issues with gas flow and stiffness. There are mixed opinions on flame size, build quality, value, and ease of use.

WE NEED REPLACEMENT TIPS !!
I have used the torch for over a year and it has performed flawless. The torch is not intended for large jobs but for smaller delicate jobs that require precision. The only problem I have is with the manufacturer not providing replacement tips, difficult in finding them to keep the torch operating properly

Doesn’t last long
I have purchased this item twice, the first one stopped working after a couple of days no gas would flow through it it’s like the on and off valve was stuck shut, my second one lasted a little bit longer but the same thing happened, no gas will flow through it I have tried propane and map gas.

Pretty worthless…
This is nothing more than a glorified, overpriced solder iron and foam cutter. You can do exactly what this does with any old $10 solder iron, at that. The torch feature is completely useless. It didn’t even get hot enough to melt flux or low temp resin core solder. Turning it up at all and it’ll blow it’s own flame out.The valve to the bottle doesn’t extend and contract like it should with the knob. Off? On? Once on, there’s no off till I disconnect the bottle (flame off, of course). I shove the valve up so at least gas isn’t leaking out as I screw in the tank.I thought at least the striker would be useful. Nope. I don’t know how you DON’T get a pezioelectric spark out of an instrument designed to do that…. Unless it sucks.Well, it only produces a spark in maybe 1 of 3 strikes. I have to practically shove the torch nozzle spewing gass into it to get it to light. You have no idea how disappointed I am. I’d wanted this torch for about a yea, thinking it’d solve a lot of my problems. Nope. Absolutely not. Just mire cleanup.Ever have something you hate yourself for buying? Yeah, this is one of mine.

A very useful tool for the Artists loft.
A very useful tool for the Artists loft. As a metalsmith I generally have a torch ie; oxy/acetylene, oxy/propane , propane, butane- aflame, whether it’s for annealing, soldering, flame patinas [works great for adding a patina to copper], whatever your needs may be, this is an extremely handy little torch and for $49.00 [basic system is $39.00] it’s a steal. I highly recommend this torch and I like it’s physical structure as it leads well into a higher temp oxy/acetylene set-up. Handy and a great way to introduce new students to soldering and torch work. I highly recommend it…

Few tips on how to successfully ignite Bluefire HT-1933 soldering pen torch
In case that some new users might feel difficult to ignite this soldering pen, especially when the soldering iron sets were on, there are some tricks I want to share:At first, turn on the gas knob on the bottle fitting, then open the gas control on the soldering pen to small flow, DO NOT turn it too high since gas flow too fast can extinguish any sparks.Secondly, approaching the spark lighter to the holes on the soldering iron seat, there is one hole that is larger than others, and by my experiences, this is the position that specially designed for ignition, just push the lighter and you will see blue flames come out of all the holes.NOW here comes the MOST IMPORTANT TRICK, DO NOT immediately turn the gas to larger when the flame is still blue! Keep it low or even turn it to smaller for few seconds until you saw parts of the ceramic media inside were burned into red, then at this time you can turn the gas to larger or maximum as you wish, and start your soldering job.I love this new toy! It is hotter than butane pens, and no more painful refill works, just connect to a MAPP or propane cylinder and it can continuously working for much longer time!

Not for precision work until modified…
I’m currently building a bunch of 240 volt 50 amp cables. I like to solder the ends of the cooper wire to keep shorting whiskers from being a problem. In the past when doing one or two cables, I’d just use a propane cylinder with a standard plumber’s torch. But, the setup isn’t exactly a precision solution.I purchased this with the intent on using MAPP gas to solder tin the big-gauge cables. The problem is, the short 3′ 1/8″ (3.2mm) 20bar (~300psi) hose is far too stiff to move the torch around easily. As a fix, I’ve ordered a 10′ air brush hose. A MAPP gas cylinder produces about 100psi. This is about the maximum pressure for such hose. I couldn’t find any listings for burst pressure. I’ll be anchoring the hose to the barbs with a wire clamp tool similar to the ClampTite offering. Also, the torch output seems to be rather inconsistent as it warms. Like being in the shower, as the pipes heat up, the hot water volume decreases. Just be aware and keep an eye out and adjust as necessary. The included spark igniter is useless. Have a Bic BBQ or candle lighter on-hand to use as a torch lighter.I’m sure once I massage the tool to get it to work the way I need it to, it will function well. But, the fact I have to do the work to make it work, kinda blows.

One of a kind, Mapp gas pencil torch.
This is now one of my favorite tools. I had some precision brazing to do and this Mapp torch worked perfectly. The small butane torches that are available, do not burn hot enough to properly brass braze or high content silver solder. This tiny torch is a life saver and a fine product. I highly recommend this tool!

Tested with propane. Takes a time to control from valve, as pressure in hose takes time to drop through torch tip. Works fine. Don’t forget to turn on at handle as well as valve.
M.R.December 24, 2024
It was just a bag of tips, no torch, no hose.

C’est pas fait pour travailler avec les buses. La mini torche fonction bien, mais ça pas fait solide et le tuyau est trop rigide ce qui rend la manipulation pain pénible.
