Great Soldering Station
This station is great. Heat up time is ridiculously fast! 0-300 in a matter of seconds. The temperature control is easy and accurate. I may be old school but I prefer the analog dial over the digital controller. Accessories are ok. Only drawback is the base of the iron stand that holds the sponge is made of plastic so careful when putting the hot tip in as there is a possibility of hitting it and melting plastic on the soldering tip. The part that holds the iron is metal, not sure why the whole thing wasn’t just made of the same thing but that doesn’t effect the function of the station so 5 stars it is. Well worth the money.

A nice station. You get alot for the money and the quality is better than I expected.
This station includes quite a number of useful accessories. There is a nice assortment of tips and the solder is decent quality. I also like the ability to clean the tip two ways. It heats up quickly and I had no problem tinning wires with it. The wand is just heavy enough to use it safely while being comfortable and the cord has sufficient length. I do wish the two parts attached to each other, however. I didn’t try the solder sucker but, from experience, I don’t expect it to work as well as larger suckers with more suction. It should be good enough for non precise work, however. The instructions, while useful, won’t help a novice learn how to solder properly and I took a star away for that.

Very Pleased
It’s quite attractive and practical.The stand is especially nice. With a sponge and copper ball for cleaning the tip.The various accessories ensure you can put it to use immediately.It did prove a little underpowered to solder the 18 Gauge Solid Core wires I was working with. It succeeded, but slowly.Not its fault. 90W simply is not enough for that task.Would definitely buy again.

Finally a real soldering station that works good.
After buying a couple of cheap soldering irons that CLAIMED to be a high wattage only to find they would barely melt solder at all and ended up going into the trash, I spent a few more bucks and bought this unit that came with everything. A quality iron holder with a functional tip cleaner and sponge, a big roll of good solder, and a temperature control that quickly brought the iron up to a temperature that made solder connections a breeze. They even included a solder sucker. I’m not only impressed with this kit, but I’m a happy camper. Highly recommended.

Doesnât work
I got it out the box for the first time to put my sons tree together and light comes on but donât get hot I am so upset I work so much I get a day to do this and it wonât get hot

Barely usable
Doesn’t seem to hold the same heat temp no matter what the dial is set to. The red power light only blinks when you move the dial so that’s no help. The cleaning brass ball is basically useless since the brass ball isn’t dense enough to offer any resistance and thus cleaning ability. The little included suction solder remover is a bad joke (doesn’t work at all). The little ‘cleaning sponge” – well it’s so thin it won’t hold up past 1 or 2 uses. All-in-all, I should have stepped up to a better unit.

I upgraded to this soldering station from an old 30w Weller iron I’ve been using for years. The difference is night and day. This iron heats up extremely quickly and holds a steady temperature. The handle is comfortable and lightweight. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality soldering station at a good price.
