Really great soldering iron for the price!
Although I’ve just begun using the soldering iron, I’m pleased with the iron. It heats so quickly!The supplied case holds all of the needed supplies very nicely! It is a good value for the price.

great for my car restoration projects
unlike several of the other reviewers i am not a professional electronics guy but i do restore cars and so this little kit is perfect for all my needs… nice “gun” that has precise controls and hears up seriously quick… lots of different tips, more then i will ever need and besides that the kit come with everything i will ever need( flux, solder tube, solder sucker, tweezers, different tips, sponge, stand). it works great to solder my splices nd connections on my cars wiring and at the price point it is perfect…. 1 complaint is the dang stand, its tiny! i swear im nervous every time i set it down. i think i’ll just make a new one when i have a spare minute but other then that u cant go wrong with this little kit if ur like me and jut doing odds and ends on cars and tractors and other shop needs… 5 stars for price and setup

Decent ceramic soldering kit for the price. Uses T18 tips
Soldering iron comes in pouch with flux, solder tube, solder sucker, tweezers and different tips with a small iron stand with cleaning sponge. Changing tips is easy by removing collar and swapping out tips. Has a ceramic core heater and fitment to the tips is a little loose fitment IMO compared to my Hakko. Iron will accept T18 tips in larger sizes. Temp control is easily set via temp buttons on handle with easy to read display. The stand works, but small with small sponge also. The solder sucker works and is the general generic type ones, nothing special. Same for soldering wick, it works fine. The flux is clean and so is the solder. The ceramic core element is held in by a large threaded ring and the entire heating element is attached to the PCB and slides out entirely with the power cord from the wand. Not sure if element is replacement as it seems soldered to the PCB, but the overall cost of this kit is low enough to offset replacement element if needed. Will try Hakko T18 tips soon to see how well it performs with larger soldering work on copper power wires, but is overall a nice travel soldering kit that seems to get the job done.

A nice backup soldering iron, or a main iron if you’re not a pro.
I’m an electronics professional, and I got this as an soldering iron I to take with me on-site, for those few times I need one. Overall, I was impressed with how well this iron works. It heats up quickly, and you can set the temp. It comes with all the various tips I’m most likely to need. I also really like the fact that they included solder wick and flux paste. Usually cheap solder wick isn’t worth the hassle, but this solder wick worked better than I expected. My only complaints about this kit, are the solder stand, and the solder sucker. The solder sucker is just low quality, and the solder stand is too small. But, these are just extras, and the soldering iron is the reason I got this.

Good value set
The iron works great and will work for any of your standard soldering projects.It comes with a zippered case, making it convenient to keep everything together whether at home or using it for travel.The holder and sponge are very small and although they could be better, it’s still a great value for everything you get in this set. I wouldn’t hesitate to order this again if needed.
