Fixed the plastics on my 97 express. Plastics that are hard to find. Easy tool and did a great job I think for an amateur.

works fine. No need for the extra tools
The welder works fine. 100W is more than enough because…. 100W isn’t even actually used to heat the wire. The devices advertised at 150W or 200 or even 250W are just silly. I’ve tried them, and none of them actually use anywhere near 100W to heat the staples. Sure they may be rated for that wattage. But it doesn’t make anything better.But why does it need to come with a cheap knife and useless cutters? Neither one is of any use for plastic welding. The cutters are too low quality to even cut the staple ends. The knife and cutters have both gone into the metal recycling bin. The gun itself is fine. I do wish I could find a truly high-quality one. But I won’t use it enough to really need more than this cheap one. It does work. And the staple supply is good (though why they have to come in multiple bags of the same staples is a mystery.)

Very useful tool. I’ve already made many auto plastic repairs.
This tool works well. I wish it had the smoothing and cutting tips available with others. Easy to use. Cutters broke first day of use but a $3 pair of flush cutters was even better. Pays for itself in one use.

Works fantastic
Used it on my car’s bumper. It looks better than before and it is holding up. I recommend getting a better clipper for the staples because they are extremely sharp and painful when they scrape.

great little tool
I bought this to close up my steering wheel center after my airbag went off. I needed it closed until I put in an new airbag. This is very easy to use and did the job I needed. If you need to piece a couple of pieces of plastic or rubber together, this will do it
