The all new 888+ PCB-Series is an incredibly compact USA-designed professional 2-in-1 hot air and iron soldering system with a desktop saving 5 x 6” footprint. It features a large front panel display with a 500W microprocessor controlled temperature hot air ranging from 100 to 480 degrees C. The included soldering iron is 90W with a range of 200 to 480 degrees C. Temperature scale adjustment is also quick and easy, simply press and hold UP and SET buttons to jump between Centigrade to Fahrenheit readouts. Unique to the PCB-Series is it’s integrated helping hands, solder wire feeder, tip and nozzle holders, and ESD wrist strap connector saving even more space with increased functionality. With the 888+ you can comfortably tackle long soldering sessions thanks to the ergonomically designed soldering iron grip. The handle also contains a vibration sensor for that allows for programmable auto sleep and wake function. If you accidentally forget to turn off the station or walk away for too long, it will enter countdown to sleep mode saving both you and your electric bill. Don’t get stuck with cheap plug in irons that have unpredictable temperature output. Not only are both tools digitally controlled, but they also have a digital offset feature for calibrating tip temp. No more guessing and overheating your components! As with all Aoyue soldering stations, there are a plethora of tip and nozzle shapes and sizes to choose from and USA based service and support from SRA Solder.
PCB soldering kit – Designed specifically for soldering electronics, the 888+ hot air station is the perfect choice for RC vehicles, drones, guitar repair, gaming, model trains, radio, and arduino.
Variable Temperature Control – Dial in exactly how much heat you need for the job. Since the unit power is digitally controlled, you’ve got power in reserve.
Helping Hands Kit – Each precision soldering helping hand is super flexible yet will NOT drift from the desired position. Mounts securely to soldering station with lock washers.
USA Support Team – If you have any questions about soldering or proper use of these accessories, you can call or email our Massachusetts customer service team and we’ll walk you through it.
This special kit bundles everything you need to get started soldering now at a professional level including helping hands, solder wire spool, Soldering mat, brass coils cleaner, sponge cleaner, ESD wrist strap, wire strippers, precision tweezers, desolder

Decent Solder Station
This solder station is very nice with many features that are found in higher end units. The station has an adjustable output iron and also heat gun. There is a variety of iron tips as well as heat gun tips. The station includes a grounding strap for the wrist making it static discharge safe. There are also flexible rods with alligator clips to hold work pieces. Everything is included to get started. The quality of this station is very good and a reasonable price tag making this worthy of 5 stars.

Couple of minor issues
Review for: Aoyue 888+ PCB Series 2-in-1 Hot Air Gun Soldering Kit for Electronics – Includes Soldering Mat, Helping Hands, Solder Wire, Brass Coils, Desoldering Pump, Extra Tips and Nozzles, and ESD Wrist Strap.I may be overly impressed because this is my first solder station. I have always used a cheap stick soldering iron with no temperature controls. That being said, I am very happy with this product. It comes with different iron tips and air gun tips to meet all my soldering / de-soldering needs. It has a nice assortment of other accessories, some I will use and some I really didn’t need. It was easy to assemble the few parts that were not attached. The only negative was, there was a missing screw for the part that holds the extra tips. There were 9 posts and 8 screws. These are small screws, so the likelihood of me having one in my loose assortment of screws is highly unlikely. The iron heats up fast. I was able to solder what I needed quickly. Unlike my cheap iron. It would have been nice to have a stand for the hot iron, or if the holder were metal. The holder is plastic and if you are not careful when inserting the iron, you could melt the plastic. The hot air gun also worked well. I didn’t test it with any circuit boards, since I didn’t have any handy. For my rudimentary soldering needs, this kit is more than adequate. Use is pretty straight forward. I do recommend reading the instructions. They let you know things that aren’t obvious. Like changing from degrees C to F is accomplished by holding the down and set buttons. By the way, the setting for C or F does remain after a power cycle. It also lets you know the hot air gun blower will continue to run after shutting it off, to cool down. I didn’t test the auto off / on, but it is a nice feature if you get distracted and leave it on.

For the price range you get a good soldering station
I’ve used soldering stations and this one is great for the price.. especially for what you get.Typically most people use the iron for soldering the hot air is great for I soldering or more for desoldering. It is a pain sometimes to remove component. This can also double for heat shrink tubing. This kit comes with different size tips for both the iron and air. It pretty much covers all the types of work being done on electronic components. Some of the accessories are very useful but they are not top quality like the ones I get for work. The desoldering suck pump works well, as well as the tweezers.

Great value on a combination soldering iron and hot air station
This is a good soldering station for the price, as a perfect addition to a home DIY-er that needs something a little better than a bargain basement single temperature soldering iron. I like how the 2-in-1 station packs two useful tools into almost the same amount of space as my previous soldering station.I found the iron heats up fairly quickly, as does the hot air station. After doing some electrical repair work, I really liked having the hot air station to finish up some heat shrink tubing without needing to get my heat gun out. I do have to say, though, that I really would have preferred dials for adjusting the temperature instead of up and down buttons, as a dial style control would be a lot faster. The integrated helping hands are a neat idea, although the positioning of them is a bit awkward, so I’d say it’s probably best to stick to a separate set of helping hands for whatever project is being worked on.I haven’t needed to use anything other than the original tip sizes that were pre-installed, but it is nice that there is an included rack to keep the other sizes easily available.I certainly wouldn’t call this “professional” quality by any means, but for anyone who needs to do some light soldering from time to time, it’s definitely a very respectable kit for home use. For its price point, is a nice deal.

Awesome soldering kit
This kit is so inclusive and versatile that I feel like I went from amateur to pro-level soldering almost too quickly. I used to rig up work spaces to try to make my basic soldering gun easier to use but this kit creates an entirely different level of ease and convenience that I didnât even know I was missing. Everything about this kit is designed to get you better results in less time and with less effort (or frustration). Iâm newer to electronics soldering so I donât know what some of the inclusions and tips are for but, based on the basic work Iâve done so far, Iâm sure itâs all just as well made as the ones Iâve used. Canât say enough good things about this kit but hereâs one moreâ¦it also sells for a very fair price. This is a solid five star value.

Great starter set
This should be good for most anyone except those that use it all day. To me the wires are stiff and not silicone flexible, so I take them and pull them off to the right and tie wrap them to the frame then they are not in your way all the time. Use the sunlight or the hot air to heat them up and straighten them out.I would rather that the iron does not go in at the top at that angle, I prefer mounted to the right at 30-40 degrees angle instead of the 80 degrees it is. Then get some 1/8″ brass rod and make up a bracket to hold the solder off to the left at a 45 angle, put any kind you want there and no threading it under etc…The auto off if no vibration is really nice and the auto cool down on the hot air also. Overall this is pretty good and changeable to my liking easily enough.
