Vehicle in Motion: When your vehicle is driving, all FOUR LED lights will light up. This signals that the AFM system is disabled, allowing your vehicle to continuously operate in its V8 or V6 mode. Works well in my 2018 Yukon 5.3l
Purchased this in July 2024 for my 2018 Yukon 5.3l with a ODBC2 splitter cable to tuck it under the dash. No issue, no dash lights, put 7,000 miles on it (Nov 2024) works like it should. Gas mileage is the same with this device or with or without this device. I like have the power right away if I have to pass or tow my boat or trailer. I would recommend this device. Cheers!

Shuts off with car – no battery drain.
I just purchased a used 2013 Tahoe. I immediately ordered this once I learned about the AFM nonsense. I cannot speak to any “before” performance issues but it seems to be working as described when installed. I also like that is powers off with the car, which has been a complaint with other models. Cheap fix versus sending your ECU out to be reprogrammed. Also does not seem to throw any codes, which is important for emissions inspection, although I will likely remove it when that day comes.

Perfect
17 silverado. Works as advertised. No more herkey-jerky switching between 4 and 8 cylinders all the time! No more lag when demanding power!

Works on a 2016 Caprice
Does what it says on the box. Plug in thing, AFM/DOD stays off. That’s all it does. Worked on a 2016 caprice 6.0 with no issues.

Stopped working after 3 months
Worked fine the first few months then stopped. Trying to reach out to have it replaced but have not heard back.

2019 Escalade
Works great on my 19 escalade. Stays in v8 and drives great. Does not kill my battery as it shuts off when car turns off. Much better than getting the range brand 3x mors expensive
