Buy it without hesitation. This Product works.
Easy install, product works. Plug and play. My 2014 Silverado Crew Cab Z71 seems to have more power and is more responsive when I kick into passing gear. At 165,000 miles it stays in V8 mode now all the time. Hopefully this will prevent the inevitable lifter problem. Buy it. Good value and it works.

problem generator
problem generator is nowhere in the description that using this device the car will not pass the technical inspection for emissions what happened to me the second thing the engine from the front works strangely jerking I did not feel any increase in power only higher fuel consumption a much larger device generates a ton of blends I have remote diagnostics in my car after calculating the device no diagnostic test passed maybe it works in Tesla or in a Chinese electric car because in a combustion car it only generates costs and problems

Very little impact on fuel mileage
Used this on a 2500 mile round trip and I think at worst, my mpg drop 0.5. Not enough for me to worry about since I barely drive the truck over 10,000 miles a year. Left it plugged in without driving the truck for two weeks and no noticeable battery drain. And the key is no more surges due to switching between V4 and V8 mode.

A partial fix
This Device certainly helped with my AFM issues. It didnât deactivate the AFM completely.Thereâs still the âsearching for gears â and at times at highway speeds to go to 4 cylinders that causes the engine vibrate. At highway speeds the engine still surges continuously 100 to 150 rpms. I do not recommend this part if you think itâs going to deactivate the AFM . At least it didnât on my 21â Silverado with the 5.3 liter v-8.
