[About 3D8RGB]This is an 8x8x8 LED CUBE composed of 512 three-in-one (red, green and blue) lamp beads. Each lamp bead has four pins, and each LED can give out full-color light. It has more colors than the LED CUBE of monochrome LEDs.
[Hardware]It is controlled by an 32F103RET6 single chip microcomputer (SCM) and LED is driven by an MBI5024 constant current chip. Its main board is welded and tested. The size of the main board is 18×18.5cm and the finished product is 18×18.5x19cm in dimensions after welded.
[Need User Welding]As required, users should weld 512 RGB lamps on their own and they also need to be skilled in welding technology. We have designed a fixed LED support to facilitate and better LED welding. Users only need to weld step by step according to the printed installation instructions; moreover, a video has been provided for how to weld.
[Built-in Dynamic Effects]It has more than 30 kinds of built-in gorgeous dynamic effects, which can be displayed when you have completed welding and turned on the power without programming. There are 4 keys provided on the mainboard for you to adjust the animation effects.

Tedious but well made kit, awesome results!
Took a little practice to find an efficient assembly workflow for the soldering of the LED grids, but after that it went well. Very tedious cutting and bending the LED leads but also kind of a meditation thing. When testing each LED for operation on each of the finished grids I only had one bad LED which was easy to replace. After putting it all together, plugged it in and Voila! It actually worked! I was blown away that I had not made any mistakes. Took about 25 hours to assemble working in 4 hours spurts. I out on the acrylic box and it looks spectacular. Now I’m toying with the idea of a 16x16x16 cube… am I crazy?

Excellent quality cube
Cube shipped from China so it took a while to arrive. I decided to buy one of the little cheap, one color cubes to practice with while I waited.This brand and kit is SOOOOO much more professional. From the instructions to the components to the help they offer.I took my time and put it together a little per day. It took an average of 2 -1/2 hours per grid to build. I recommend to cut the stems a bit longer than the instructions and just trim them down later, or donât even trim them at all. Cutting them too short adds a lot of time to the build.Every LED worked! I was very satisfied with the outcome. I did have to customize the build process a little bit to eliminate a few problems, but that was a personal preference.If you want a good quality cube, go with this brand. I also suggest you buy the case for it. Itâs about $25.

fun build
it’s a lot tougher to build the “normal” 8x8x8 cubes. some others said that it takes about 2 hours per segment. i’d tell others to plan on more time than that. that said it was a neat kit to build, not too hard but a challenge. lots of bending the 4 lead LEDs who’s legs are cut to about 6mm

What a nice kit and easy to build
This is a well engineered kit with an LED holding fixture that makes it very easy to build. I would like a program for making new patterns, I’ll be asking iCubeSmart very soon.

Love It!
Absolutely LOVE this kit. It was challenging but for those who may not know much about these, there are very clear instructions. They say that there is a program coming in June to make them programmable which is their only downfall right now. You are stuck with the animations built in only. But, it sounds like that will be remedied soon! Awesome kit, very well done with EVERYTHING needed to complete it!

Great project, everything was there, instructions are somewhat blurry. The video is helpful. The holes to hold the LEDs in place while working could have been a tiny bit narrower, my diods kept on moving and falling off it. I am afraid you need to have good eyesight and steady hands, which I don’t… Messed the first wall of leds totally. Sadly, I don’t think I will be finishing it. I can solder, but this was too finnicky for me! Not the sellers fault, though!

Ich finde das Ding mega!Der Aufwand beim Löten/Stecken ist natürlich schon extrem, jedoch ist man sich dem denke ich vorher bewusst.Es liegen auch genug Zusatzteile dabei falls man mal etwas falsch machen sollte oder etwas ausgetauscht werden muss.Die Animation und der Würfel generell sind wirklich top, man kann ja auch eigene Animationen erstellen, falls man sich in die Software einarbeiten möchte.Qualität des Würfels ist 100%.Den Modus zur Musik suche ich aktuell noch und bei dem Test Button auf der Fernbedinung hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass der Würfel komplett in z.B. einer Farbe leuchtet, sodass er auf defekte LEDs überprüft werden kann.An sich aber mega tolles Teil und ihm kann man stundenlang zusehen.Kaufe ich gerne wieder!

Hi, so I was excited for this project, wanted to do an RGB cube for a long time. Never had the time or the knowledge to make one from scratch. With this kit, the project was very easy to assemble. Product got delivered with no problem. All part were there, and soon as it was finished everything works perfectly. It is a shame the controling board comes assembled. Would’ve been more fun if the control board wasn’t assembled, but I understand why it’s already done as it would make the board much bigger, with regular sized componens. I have made small changes, few extra extra horizontal supports on each layer, and I used the tinned wires to connect each layer to the control board. Just thought they’ll be less visible, than the supplied white wire. Anyway, enjoyed this project! Big thank you to the seller, and looking forward to making 16x16x16. ð
