🎄A wonderful Project for Beginners and Electronics Students: The base of this Christmas tree is equipped with a rotating motor and a speaker, so it can automatically rotate and play music after power on. Very suitable for family to complete this project together
🎄No Battery Needed, with USB cable: This electronic Christmas tree is wired to work. The suite contains a USB cable, which can be powered by a charger, a power bank, or the USB port of a computer. Working voltage: DC4-5.5V
🎄Colorful Water Light + Blue Pulsating Light Flashing: The base has 18pcs 5MM white-haired blue LED lights to achieve the breathing light effect, and on the Christmas tree are 37pcs 3MM colorful LEDs to achieve running water lights. These lights make the Christmas tree look more beautiful at night
🎄Interesting Electronic Practice Kit,Exercise Hands-on Ability: You can complete the installation according to the PCB silkscreen and component list. you can also read the user manual for installation. The LED Circuit PCB Solder Tool Can help students exercise soldering ability and learn physics knowledge
💝The Most Special Gift: This Christmas tree needs to be welded manually by yourself. It is a unique work in the world. So it will be more meaningful than any other Christmas tree. It’s perfect as a gift for your lover and family
Customers find the science fundamentals kit fun to build and educational. They mention it has a nice light effect and is a cute tree for their desk. However, some customers have reported that the music is high-pitched and loud, and there are missing parts. Opinions are mixed on the ease of assembly.

Affordable and very educational…not the best sound quality.
The kit is pretty easy to put together once you google the manual…could not find the link here. BUT they shorted us one 47k resistor and gave us like 5 leds too many, thankfully we had some spare parts and found an extra 47k. Once together we noted that the board the tree fits to first was oriented incorrectly, our mistake. Swapped it around and it seems to work fine, but omg the music is so high pitched and loud and distorted it is painful. We snipped the piezo off because that was not going to be a good thing long term.My only suggestion would be to include a couple extra parts for each thing, because people can lose these tiny things pretty easy…and to improve on the instructions…and music.Good gift, my 11 year old loved it.Now our office has an official tree.Love it.

A Great Kit and Looks Nice
This is a rather tedious (lots of LEDs) but very easy kit to build. You can find the directions online and they are quite clear. The Christmas tree lights look really nice. The music is obnoxiously loud with no volume control. I unsoldered the “speaker” and may install a potentiometer to control the volume. But it’s actually nice without the tinny music. The only annoying issue is the use of a round power jack for the required 5 volts. A standard USB plug would have been much easier. All in all a nice kit which I recomend.

Check your items, and don’t install the piezo
It is a great idea. However, the piezo speaker is not adjustable on the volume, if you do install it, friction fit the piezo in, so it can be easily removed, after you hear it. It is too loud from 30 feet away. An “Xmas” tune would have been a better choice than a bad rendition of Für Elise at a non-adjustable level. I found it interesting on their comments:”Why choose us?We have a professional R&D team and prompt after-sales service. All products contain detailed instructions. If you have any questions or needs after purchasing our product, please feel free to give us suggestions or request. We will solve it for you as soon as possible.”A profession R&D team would have included the instructions, which had to be downloaded from this page. I am good with that, less paper is good, but do not claim to send the instructions. Also there is no schematic included anywhere which would be part of the detail. One kit was missing the power plug ( I had one in the office, so no biggie). There were 4 layers of plastic bags. One bag with the sticker identifying it, one bubble wrapped bag(pretty much popped), Another bag to hold the pieces, and one last bag with some capacitors, lights and resistors. It might have been better to leave two or three of the bags out, since half of the kits electronics are already loose, why put some resistors and capacitors iin a bag with the LEDs, and the other resistors loose? It would be beneficial to have someone go over the instructions to clarify some things, and to assist on the English translation. “8.Installation Steps(Please be patient install!!!): “Please be patient and do not skip or rush steps, or Please plan a quiet time to put this together. There could be a lot of room to educate people on some things too, like the R7 is more of a VR7 variable resistor/potentiometer/trimmer, which must be placed in a certain direction. Please note the direction. This project would be more for intermediate to advanced users. I could see it getting frustrating for a beginner. But it works, it is quite nice (without the piezo blaring Für Elise , thank you, just a bit of polishing would be better.

Fun kit to do! Get yourself the one with the acrylic case.
This was fun, but time consuming to assemble! I’m skilled and it took me about a movies length to put together.Pay attention to the motor board/base, not all components go on one side on this one!The little motor can get a little chattery after a while. Also, do yourself a favor and don’t solder the speaker …you will regret listening to that thing drone on over and over and over and over the same same same song…They make great gifts you can assemble cheaply. When I put one on my desk at work, then everyone was hitting me up to make them one. Another reason to get the case, everyone has to touch it. (Eye roll)

Missing parts
I didn’t like the fact that it was missing parts. There are 7 blue 100w resistors to be specific.

Nice Christmas tree soldering project
Excellent kit. Extra parts, PDF instructions avail through link on product page. Very thorough instructions. The only thing I would say differently is to install the screws that require soldering on the main PCB board with motor first as it requires tinning the terminal & space is limited with the other components installed. This is more of an intermediate to advanced solder project. Supervision should be done if a beginner is attempting this.

Loud, Good Lighting
This was fun to “build”, however the music part was best left out (super noisy). The rotation also made it a bit too noisy.
