Fantastic
Some of the best ceramic tweezers I have used, they are pretty strong, so they may be hard to use if you have small or weak hands, but I like that they feel study and I don’t feel like I’m going to lose what I’m holding. The fit on them is nice and flush so the whole ceramic area is usable, unlike some I’ve used where only the tip touches. Great tweezers.

Spill your pills, this will help get them off the floor.
Just the item to use to pick your dropped pillsâa reverse tweezer, which you squeeze to open, and relax when you have the pill inside. Works great, has a ceramic pointed end, works with most pill sizes. I found these in fly fishing/tying mags. They are used by electronic soldiers, and craft folks too. I had trouble finding one large like this. It could be a little larger and have non slip grips, it workers great.

These are solid tweezers.
The spring strength of these are strong, and the metal handles are slightly magnetic, I think they are made of an alloy. The ceramic tips can be changed by removing the screws.Just use caution when holding delicate/fragile items. Things like thin wires or plastic can be easily pinched.

Not the “precision tweezers” you were expecting
I was hoping for the standard, ground ceramic tweezers that one might have used in chemistry lab in the past. But these are rather sad. Instead of the ground ceramic, the tip elements are cast tempered glass. Yes, glass is technically a ceramic. You can see small marks showing how the Asian maker must have first taken an impression of a real ceramic piece, and used that to make a mold for the cast glass. This means that the edges that should be absolutely flat are not, and tolerances are terrible. Despite this, one of the 3 that arrived did have fairly unsplayed tips, but the other two are both splayed and mismatched in length. See photo. The “good” one of three did also have mismatched length, but I used a diamond disk to grind the length down to make a precision match. I could not do that for the mating surfaces though, because that would take a larger diamond wheel and I don’t have one. When you get yours, test it this way: can you take a human hair, and securely hold it in the tips of the tweezers? Only one of mine could do that, the others could not mate together close enough to hold a hair. Still, for the price, having one decent tweezer that just needs minor rework is sort of good news, but it’s so disappointing to see this kind of cheapened copy of a fine tool sold to buyers who will miss out on the experience of owning a fine precision ground ceramic tweezer.

Very well made, and seem high quality.
Wanted self-closing tweezers with non-metallic tips. Plastic would probably have been fine for my expected uses, but ceramic actually a big plus, as I can now use the same tweezers for tasks where high temperatures are involved. The quality of the metallic part of the tweezers is really excellent, much better than similar priced self-closing tweezers. I expect a lifetime of service!

Great for soldering jobs
I use these to both peel back cloth wire and hold it in place during soldering. Peeling back cloth is a piece of cake. Itâs not to not get burned with the heat of the metal. Highly recommended. If you install electronics in a guitar these are fantastic. Helps to hold the wire in tight spots.

Good value
I use these for detail work. I would have given 5 stars except the curved end tweezers had a manufacturing defect. This defect results in the extreme most tip of the tweezers to curve outward, away from each other, to the extent that the very tips aren’t touching each other at rest. For some detail work that isn’t a problem, however for super fine work it’s a deal breaker. Good set for the price otherwise.
