Better product than the old brown stuff.
This is almost like a very thin candle wax. Goes on wires and terminals easily. Solder joints are shinny and clean.

Not for tinning!!!!
This stuff is not for tinning, it is specifically made for hot air rework for removal of ic chips ONLY! this does not cause solder wetting. It will not tin pads or traces. It is specifically for keeping the board from damaging under high heat. If you need safe solder flux for tinning use something that has pine rosin in the formula or use pine pitch rosin directly and youâll get what youâre looking for when it comes to tinning and removing oxidation. I can not stress this enough! DO NOT PURCHASE FOR TINNING!!!!!

Used on several cleanings of wires before welding and you can see the difference between with or without the paste.
