Inexpensive price for tweezers like this.
When I was a kid, I avidly collected stamps and, for a while when my son was young, we also collected stamps together. For that hobby, tweezers like this were a “must.”Now that we’re not actively collecting stamps, however, we have shifted in our homes to DIY crafts of various kinds. My wife does various needlework and knitting. We’ve built a number of DIY kits.And we find these tweezers quite helpful in a number of those pursuits.One of them is making puzzle-like kits of wood into models like a clock, a bank, a marble maze, etc. We’ve built a number of those wooden puzzle kits with tiny, often fragile pieces of wood we’re trying to place very carefully. These tweezers come in really handy for that.Plus, we really like the inexpensive suggested retail price here.

Bigger size and cheaper material than expected, but it works well.
An ok pair of tweezers for model making use. The size appears slightly larger in person than from the photos I perceived. Not a big deal, but did surprise me a little, since I was thinking these were more of a precision style tweezers.The tweezers work as intended. I like the rubber tips and the locator pin build in the metal arms, so when squeezing tight, the tips wonât cross over each other while maintaining good grip. Having that said, Iâm a little disappointed by its material of choice. The metal feels cheap, looks cheap, and just too soft, especially noticeable when unconsciously gripping a little harder when working on smaller parts. The metal literally bends. I wish it was more rigidly made.Lastly, I think this is just my unfortunate luck – one of the tweezers arrived totally deformed. I had to spend 10 minutes to reshape it back to something more usable. After reshaping, the metal sort of feels softer than the other good one I received. This deformed one bends really easily now, which is rather annoying to use.Overall, it is ok. Nothing truly bad or outstanding at this price point. However, I personally would pay a little more for a stronger set of tweezers for use with precision work, like small scale model making.
