These are just the pieces you need if you want to use your plastic welder to mend something and make it water tight.
It comes with 3 sheets of strong, finely woven wire mesh each measuring about 6” x 8” in area. There are 20 thin plastic rods each measuring about 9” x .375”.
Easy to use – just heat the underlying plastic enough so that the cut piece of mesh is held temporarily in place before applying more heat to melt it through. Then take the plastic rods to melt on top of the mesh to fully cover the section.
I would definitely recommend getting these of you bought a plastic welder.

I dad a hole in the floorboard of my Polaris side by side. I was able to use this kit to patch it up quite nicely. Pretty amazing really. I also fixed a shroud on a tractor PTO shroud. It take a bit of practice but you can really fix things with this.

Uesed as filler materil for repair
i used this to repair a crack in my Rav4 tire cover.I used hot metal staples to provide structural support and then backfillled with this plastic.Quick sand and primer now I juat have to get it repainted the cars color.Worked well, but smells weird when melting.I guess I could have used bondo, but this worked just as well and didnt have the cure time bondo does.Not for large repairs, small cracks or holes only.

Quality material
I bought a kit to repair a kayak. When it arrived I could see it wasnât going to be enough to repair the huge hole so I searched and found this kit. The hole was 2×3 inches and needed to be a half inch thick. The kayak is polyethylene and nothing much sticks to it but melted polyethylene. I also needed to reinforce the repair. It also comes with strong stainless steel screens. This kit comes with plenty of repair materials and is reasonably priced
