Great kit for trying out soldering for the first time.
This kit is great for trying out soldering for the first time. I would highly recommend you get an exhaust fan and do this in a well ventilated room.

Perfect for kids
I sat and worked on this little kit with my nephew this weekend. He was super interested in electronics, and this was a huge hit. It came with a little booklet that led us through most of the assembly. For Christmas I got him a soldering Iron and taught him how to use it on this little kit. He had an absolute blast and he’s looking forward to learning more and more about electronics. When I was growing up, we had Radio Shack, this is the modern day equivalent of going to the Shack. A great little kit all put together in a perfect package to learn with. Great Job! We need more of these so the young kids learn what we learned back in the day.
