Great for joining 3d prints
I bought this plastic welder repair kit with the idea of utilizing it for joining two pieces on a 3d print. It works perfect for it and allows a clean joint.

Great product, but you need some skill to use it.
Quality and Value:The value is amazing. This little plastic welding kit is great. It came with 3 tips and a bunch of strips of plastic to use for welding. The quality is good. It has a nice light to tell you it’s on, so you don’t burn yourself , hopefully.Overall:Overall, the tool is well built and quality. It is very affordable, so I think it makes a good addition to the toolset. But, those looking for an easy fix will be frustrated. It takes some practice.

Did the job
The plastic base of my sons basketball goal got a crack in it and the base gel seeped out. I used this plastic repair kit to close the crack. I have since refilled the based and no leaks.

Outstanding Tool!
My nephew is a mechanical engineer who does a lot of work in his garage. I bought this to add to his tool collection for his business. Comment ~ “The XR MARKET Plastic Welding kit was an absolute lifesaver for my automotive plastic trim tabs for my 1988 Bronco. Anybody who has worked on plastic interior or exterior trim pieces know how much of a nightmare it is. The break all of the time, and more specifically, the trim tabs snap off. This plastic welding kit was exactly what I needed. It supplied different types of plastic rods, wire mesh, and metal wire to help me plastic weld my trim tabs back on. This process requires patience and you need to be gentle as to not ruin the surrounding plastic by accidentally brushing with the soldering iron. Overall I give this welding kit 5 stars!
