It Works
This thing works. You will be happy with it. I’m going to try it on a car bumper next week. If you’re like me, I start going around the house looking for thing to repair :). You do want to be in a vented area or outdoors when using it. There is a little smell when using is.

Everyone should have this thing
Iâm a general contractor, we are building a fire department at the airport. One of the guys Mikita leaf blower fell off the saw horse and the handle broke, it still worked great but we had to duck tape it and it looked and felt cheap and wasnât going to last much longer. This little plastic welder made it better than new. Thanks china!

Works well
The box with the contents was disorganized but had all that was needed to mend cracked and broken plastic pieces. Watch some YouTube videos to get your technique down. If you apply too much pressure, the wire gets hot and will melt through your plastic.

Soldering works but staples are too small for heating element
I ordered two of these (one was an exact replacement for the first replacement). Neither one of them worked. The soldering tip works, but the staples donât heat up because the staples are too small to make contact with the holes inside of the heating element. If you spend some time moving the staples around, they heat up a little bit, but never glow red (or get hot enough to use). I assume that the positive reviews were pertaining to kits that came with the correct sized staples with thicker diameter standoffs, or perhaps the two I got tripped the protection circuit. No clue. YMMV. :/
