Great soldering kit for just starting out and nice value.
I got this Soldering Iron Kit for my oldest son to try out since he recently got interested in soldering. He has been using it here and there over the past few months. The set came with most everything he needed to get started and seems great for beginners. There aren’t any instructions but finding how-to videos is really easy these days so he has been using those and some instruction from me to learn.My son hasn’t done any large projects but has learned to replace different things on boards as well as solder wires together among other things. So far he hasn’t had any major issues with the kit itself but understand that nothing is of great quality. Nevertheless, this kit is an amazing value for what you get and he is quite pleased with it.

Great value for price
I finally had the occasion to use this soldering iron kit while making a quick repair to a broken lead this morning. Not only did everything worked as designed, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I could adjust the temperature of the soldering iron by adjusting the onboard thermostat! Never had a soldering iron like that before. Everything you need is in this little kit, including special angled tweezers, flux, solder, the iron itself, a stand for the iron, extra soldering tips, etc. A great value for what you get!Note: although no instructions are included, you can easily look up a quick YouTube video on how to get started with soldering.

good kit with multiple tools
the kit is good for basic soldering , it come with wire striping tool, soldering wire ,and couple of tips , the cons are ,it feels little flimsy , cleaning sponge burns while cleaning

Good basic starter set for soldering
Super basic soldering iron set but it’s great for those just starting out. Comes with a variety of tips solder a little stand and even a solder sucker. It’s not the best quality but it’s not supposed to be that’s not what it’s trying to be but it’ll definitely allow you to do some basic soldering without any issues.

Great value: Most everything you’ll ever need
I needed a new soldering iron and this kit caught my eye due to the price and all the parts.I was rather amazed that it included a solder sucker/ de-soldering pump for the price as I had purchased one a few months ago and paid almost as much just for it as for this entire kit.This iron came to soldering temp within 45 seconds – nice. I like the separate on/off and temp settings, though most of my use will be basic and one temp would likely work.The included thin solder is perfect for circuit board use. The flux and holder and tweezers are all nice add-ons and it’s good to have them all together.Great value. Quick light up. Variable settings. Most everything you’ll need. NICE.

Basic but good
Just about everything you need to start soldering projects with, including a little bit of soldering wire to use as well. It has a couple different heads to use too, making it useful in more than just electronics projects, like I originally got it for.

Great Little Iron
I keep this handy in the garage for it’s quick heat up and convenience.The solder that is included requires much more heat than I tend to use so it is just tossed in the drawer. But as for the iron and other included accessories, they are used almost daily.

VERY Basic Kit and without ANY directions or information
We needed to solder two wires and didn’t need a large setup, so we ordered this kit.When it arrived, all that was included were the items in the thumbnail. No directions, no contact information, no list of parts– not a single piece of paper.I know the basics of soldering, so I was able to use this set. It took a while for the iron to heat up, and then it was too hot. For the very basic needs this kit would be ok– after all you get what you pay for. We were able to complete our task, but probably won’t use this kit again.I can describe this kit using an analogy: when you’re just learning to crochet, you might buy a small kit that comes with everything to do with a project. Upon receiving the kit, you find no directions, so you have to consult videos from other people. After completing the project, you have a decision: is this something I want to do more of? If “yes”, you go and buy a better kit and/or better equipment. If “no”, you put it away and you are glad you didn’t spend a lot of money.In this case, we will be buying a better kit and better equipment to do our next soldering job.
