WEP’s C210 and C245 precision soldering iron is capable of micro soldering applications commonly found on smartphones, network routers, laptops, and other delicate electronics. The slim tip design and rapid-heating performance of our soldering station makes it an perfect tool for professional soldering under the microscope. This kit includes 3 different tip shapes for each soldering iron.
Different thermal mass may impact actual tip temperature, our AUTOMATIC calibration function helps users calibrate the tip temperature without needing any other tools. This ensures the temperature consistency of the tip, and protects delicate components from heat damages by accident.
Our soldering iron heats rapidly, taking only 3 seconds to reach 572°F. Users can adjust the temperature from 194~842°F. The built-in PID temperature control system maintains the temperature steadily at the set value. Upgraded with a tiltable screen with colored parameters to provide better viewing contrast and viewing angles from different heights.
The soldering iron cools to 392°F via sleep mode inside the holder, reducing unnecessary wear for the soldering cartridge. When non-use for longer than the set duration is detected, the station shuts down automatically to protect the user. You can also configure functions such as °F/°C conversion, function password lock, buzzer sound, and many others.
Users can clean the soldering tip with the integrated brass wool tip cleaner, and cleaning sponge. The cleaning sponge comes with a silicone heat-resistant surround to protect the station’s exterior. Plus, other attachable accessories include cable guide, solder wire dispenser, spare thermocouple, and more.

Ultra Precision – Buy it!!!
Not a paid review! This is a nice unit for ultra fine work. I had a small issue with one of the hand pieces however the OEM quickly resolved the problem. Heats up fast, holds solid temp, and is perfectly sized. You can use this unit for micro work or for normal day to day work with the proper tip. I got a few extra spare tips to have on hand so when the day comes I’m not scrambling to find what I need. Highly recommend this brand and this unit.

Cheap but not Cheap feeling
So far this iron has been great. Been using it pretty heavily for a few days now, I work on industrial sewer electronics and have broken quite a few irons. This one has been pretty hearty and durable by what I can tell. The only issue I have with it is that the cord is just a tad short, I have to move the base around to get the iron to reach some of the stuff I work on, Probably wouldn’t be an issue if I had a different setup on my desk but that’s a me issue.The temp is pretty accurate and the controls are easy to understand. Stays consistently hot and the features are pretty nice on it. Tips are a little hard to press in but I think that’s because I haven’t worn it down enough for the tips to slide in easier. Works great for the small camera modules and boards I work on.

Seems quite limited for the price
First off disclosure, mine came with a destroyed front screen, so I can’t see any of the controls and have to go off the instruction sheet and beeps to navigate the menus. I was never able to actually get the hot end to turn on so there may be damage to the computer on mine as well.As for the overall concept, it seems pretty overpriced for what it is to me. It has a neat system for changing hot end styles on the fly using a metal plate with groves cut into it. It has a cleaning brush chamber and a small sponge pad and a calibration thermistor. It comes with two holder sizes for different hot ends and a selection of hot ends to choose from. The more precise temperature control might be nice for working on electronics but for large wire soldering connections like I typically work on I don’t know how critical it would be. The tips it comes with don’t seem like anything special compared to vastly lower cost soldering irons and nothing about it feels particularly high quality. It is very average in terms of all the aspects that I was able to test yet seems to be significantly greater cost for some reason.

Best soldering iron Iâve used so far. I love this soldering iron a lot. It it so much better and easier to use than any of my other soldering irons. I havenât had any issues with it yet, and I would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice soldering iron.

Works Well
This is a decent solder station. It come up to temp quickly and holds it well to set value. The solder irons and tips are not a widely found style and could become hard to locate when replacements are needed. It would be at least a 4 star rating if there was a second connection port and holder for the second included iron.

Excellent solder station, heats very quickly, notifies of connection issues
I’ve been soldering a long time, but the type of work I’ve done has grown more complicated and the devices more sensitive, mostly older music accessories.This soldering iron as a HUGE upgrade for me. It heats incredibly fast and is easy to know when it’s ready and make very small adjustments. It’s set up with a great hook stand to keep the cable out of the way. It comes with various attachments making soldering easier.I haven’t tried this yet, but if I can find attachments that fit, I’d like to see if I can use it as a plastic welder. We’ll see.I would definitely recommend picking this up, so glad I did.

Great
One of the biggest selling points to me is the auto calibration. When I’m working with very small and very delicate components, having a soldering iron that’s too hot can mean the difference between getting the job done, and destroying the component and wasting my time. The fact that I can calibrate it quickly, and have everything right there on the soldering station saves a lot of hassle.Having 2 sizes of irons is very nice. A small iron won’t put out enough heat to tackle larger jobs, but the large iron isn’t as easy to accommodate precision work. This kit provides the capability to do both while taking up less bench space than 2 full stations. If I have to go back and forth a lot for one job, it can be a hassle to keep swapping the irons out, but most of the work I see takes one or the other.The variety in tips is great, and the tip changer is a nice touch.I thought I’d love the rubber grommet over the tip cleaner, but it sometimes shoots the solder off the wrong direction. I may remove it at some point, but I’m undecided.Overall a great station.Highly recommended.
