Great for kids
The kit is pretty simple and has good instructions about show to solder it and how it works, I put my little brother to build it and had no problems with it and he learned in the process. Itâs a good little project if you want to know or learn about electronics.

Fun and simple kit. but with some worthy challenges.
I do hold through-hole component soldering certification from the IPC, but I’m very rusty. I thought it would be fun to get some practice in with these very reasonably priced kits. Yes, it’s a fairly rudimentary board, but it was still fun. Rudimentary doesn’t mean it was without challenges. Some of the pads are pretty tight, so a small iron tip is recommended. I switched to one of my smallest chisel tips almost immediately, because some of the tight quarters. I had fun though, and it’s a bonus that it actually does something when you’re done.I really wouldn’t recommend trying to tackle this with a cheap soldering pen like the one shown in the ad. A soldering station is a good investment if you want to learn to do this will less frustration. I originally learned on a 60’s-era Weller soldering gun, so I guess it’s not the end of the world to use what you’ve got.

Fun kit
If you want to learn how to solder, this is a fun little kit to practice with. Good for anyone…not just kids. Comes with detailed instructions and all the parts you would need.Lots of fun.

easy kit
This is a simple kit to assemble. It comes with simple instructions and a QR code for more detailed ones. The pads on the transistor are pretty close together but that’s a good soldering practice challange. It came with some extra parts in case you loose one. Unfortunately mine came with a button missing and my IC socket was missing a pin. Fortunately I had spares of both so I was fine but it cost one star.

This is not a child’s toy. This will help you to solder on a circuit board. It’s very easy to learn on this and carry over to real world things that you might want to solder up. It comes with some very good quality parts. They make a lot of different ones.

Easy build
This is an easy project taking less than an hour to complete. I used a very fine tip as in the photo above since many of the solder pads are very close to each other, but I had no difficulties with the soldering. Instructions don’t come with the kit; they have to be downloaded. I didn’t bother and had no problems finding where components belonged. The video above demonstrates the finished product. This is a good experiences beginner project. Although powered by a usb cable, it would not be difficult to wire a three or four battery holder to the pcb for a more mobile application. I’ve built other kits from this vendor and found them to be reliable.
