Easy and fun Tic-Tac-Toe
Easy and fun project to piece together. Tic-Tac-Toe with a twist, your 4th move deletes your first move preventing a “cat’s game”. The move about to be deleted will flash so you know which one is about to be lost. Requires a bit more thought into your moves. Definitely an easy entry level soldering project to enjoy and have fun with the family or a friend.

Great little DIY kit
I picked this up as a gift for my partner, as she and I love little tinkering projects and finding a reason to bring out the old iron. Lots of fun, for beginners or hobbyists.

Good starter kit to learn soldering
I’ve been wanting to get more into hands on electronics and tinkering with hardware, and soldering was something I had never done before. I just didn’t know where to start. Then I found this. It’s a great starter kit. It provides all the components for a little electronic gadget that need to be soldered together to work, among a few other tasks. They provide instructions that are easy to follow, and it doesn’t take too long to get the piece assembled and working. I really like this approach to learning and will be looking for kits like this until I get the skills and confidence to try this on my own projects without the guide of a starter kit.At the price it’s offered it’s a great value.

Great for learning SMD soldering
Most of my experience soldering is with larger through-hole type components often found in guitars and old effects pedals. Occasionally I’ll need to repair some more modern SMD equipment, and I often struggle in that moment. This kit looks perfect as a low-cost, no harm, no foul way to practice my SMD soldering! If it works when I’m done, even better – I can design and 3D print a housing for it, too! The instructions seem pretty clear and the component list complete – I am looking forward to the build.

Nice kit, not for novice beginners.
As this is a soldering practice kit where you will need to attach everything to the board including the surface mount IC, this kit is not suited for novice/beginners, you should have some experience with attaching surface mount components first. Probably a good intermediate level kit.The included instructions are clear and have enough information for most levels of experience.The kit is complete and comes with all the components needed to make it function.You will need to provide the tools, including solder.The power cable needs to be plugged into a USB A type socket.
