Very original kit
If you know a little soldering this kit is a breeze, it works from the first time without issue, the resistors have their values written on them and the board has the values on the silk screen, all you need is a soldering iron with a fine tip, you may need a magnifying light also, that’s all. There are extra parts in case you mess up which is a big plus.Now the fun part, the Green and the Red stars work directly from USB wall adapter since it’s 5 volts, the blue star needs 6 volts to work properly, you can daisy chain several of them and make a great decoration for Christmas, birthdays or whatever you have in mind, the sky is the limit.

The Stars use micro components + had small fire
The description doesn’t let you know that you need a spyglass and compression tweezers to to assemble this product. The battery case had a short in it that I did not discover until after it caught fire. Overall a higher level of training than basic needed to complete this kit.

Very tiny components. A real challenge for this 75 year old, but I was able to finish it and works great.

Great Kit (Star kit SMD, Hearts are thru hole)
Great kit. Small, fast, and fun – but your experience will depend on your electronics familiarity… There are no instructions, but you really shouldn’t need any. (If you NEED instructions, this is not the kit for you.)The hearts should be good for anyone. The stars have small surface mount components. (If you aren’t familiar with soldering surface mount stuff, save yourself the frustration and get a different kit.) Good luck.

No instruction?!
Thought it is a good DIY kit for kids to learn soldering. Unfortunately, there is no instruction. Even I myself could not figure out which is what and how to put them together. Returned.

Horrible- no instructions and no web results or youtube results
After so much anticipation, it did not have instructions. Could not find instructions on internet or YouTube. Not for inexperienced electronic students

Very small items. Not a beginner level craft. Package arrived on time but after opening this item no instructions were included. Would not recommend.

This is a pretty small project and im 100% new to soldering so I may have my word cut out for me but looking forward to the project nonetheless.
