The three primary colors of light are considered to be red, blue, and green because they are fundamental to human vision.
LEARN & PRACTICE:
Learn to mix three primary colors to form different colors, promotes concentration and the child’s endurance and stimulates imagination.
The three additive primary colours are red, green, and blue; this means that, by additively mixing the colours red, green, and blue in varying amounts, almost all other colours can be produced, and, when the three primaries are added together in equal amounts, white is produced.
Additive color mixing:
red +green =yellow
red +blue =magenta
green +blue =cyan
red +green +blue=white

Easy to assemble. Really would make a good first project.
There were not any instructions for this. Which would help a complete beginner. Otherwise really simple to assemble. Four components, three of which can only be placed one way. Only component that would give a complete beginner any issues would be the light. But if you pay attention on the board it tells you where the negative pin goes. It’s the one that isn’t like the others. The USB power cable is pretty easy to source. Probably have a couple in the house already.

Easy practice soldering board.
Easy practice soldering board. My boy enjoyed working on it and liked that he had a small working project whe. Finished. I wish this ran off of a battery instead of a usb power supply.

Don’t need instructions
This went together really well. It was good practice because it has few components, but many big soldering points. In the end you make a fun little widget “colorbuilder”The end product could be a good tool for an artist, like a jeweler or designer, or one who needs access to a color spectrum for conceptualizing ideas.

Missing pieces and plain ‘ol not working
I ordered it and there was a missing switch.I thought “whatever, it’s cheap. I’ll buy another.”Big mistake. All pieces there this time, but the green switch doesn’t work and blue and red switches (soldered in) are turning on the other color…It’s cheap, so maybe you’ll be lucky and it’ll work, but there are definitely better things out there to buy

Kind of disappointed…
I was kind of excited to get this little gadget because I have always been fascinated by the fact that you can ‘combine’ red, green and blue light and end up with white light. I assembled the little gadget and plugged it in. The red and blue LED’s work just fine, but the green LED does not light. Kind of a letdown. I realize that in electronics, there are the occasional defective component, so I don’t hold any bad feelings toward the seller. I was actually pretty impressed by the overall quality of the PCB and the other parts. It is a well built little device. I just happened to get that one defective part… luck of the draw, I guess. Don’t let this review keep you from buying one for yourself, like I said, I just happened to get the one with a defective part. I still want to see the thing work like it is supposed to, so I’m actually going to order another one! Have a great day y’all!
