361-460F melting range
General purpose solder for sheet metal work, auto radiator repair and steel gutters
40/60 solders are 40% tin – 60% lead
50/50 solder is 50% tin – 50% lead
Contains lead – can not be used on drinking water lines
Acid flux is contained in the wire core; no external flux is needed

Needed to solder some pin holes in sheet metal and this did the job.

Worked perfectly in sealing up my 54 year old radiator.
Use this to patch up two holes i punched into my old car radiator, not intentionally of course. I’ve yet to time test it but the initial running up to temp and pressure has been successful.

I know not everyone loves the lead aspect, but…
The melting temp is lower, meaning you can get better coverage and easier spread than other solders. Highly recommend for wires and projects where you need a good melting solder.
