Great soldering iron
I wanted a name brand iron so I bought this one for work. It heats up fast and being the gun version is easier to me to hold on small wires. Price could be cheaper but is a very good setup.

Background: I am a hobbyist, not a professional, but I’ve done my fair share of soldering.I bought this product because I have a motorcycle that I bought 2nd hand and the previous owner did not, in my opinion, wire correctly. He put led lights (front and back) in without adding any kind of resistors and, predictably, this results in hyper flash. Also, he put a fender eliminator kit on the rear, which left me no place to put my license plate (he cut that part off). Long story short: I felt that this whole situation needed to be redone. So I did.I have a soldering iron I bought years ago, the pen/screwdriver looking thing, that I never thought really worked that great. Since I had gotten set on rewiring the whole rear end of the motorcycle, I decided I needed a new soldering iron that would make the job a little easier. I went to Youtube looking for ways to make my wiring stronger and weatherproof, as some of these connections were going to be under my rear fender. I found a video by the user Wranglerstar and he recommended this product. I had seen his videos before, so I took a chance and ordered this product.I have to say, I’m really impressed! This is a great product and mine does in fact heat up in 6 seconds. I wired up all the connections using flux, solder, silicone auto paste and shrinkwrap tubing. Everything works, looks and performs great and I have had no issues what-so-ever with this product. I only give it four stars because I feel there is always room for improvement. In this case, there is no stand integrated into the gun to make it stand up while it is heating/cooling. Minor, to be sure, but noticeable while I was using it.

Great soldering gun
This dual heat Weller soldering gun works great and heats up very fast. Have used it on several projects so far and all came out well, weller is a name thats been around for many years and is a very good product.

Heats better than most soldering irons
My 725 watt soldering iron was not melting the connection I wanted to unsolder. Perhaps it is defective. I bought this and let it heat for about 10 seconds, then used it to quickly unsolder a wire. You do have to hold the power trigger, which may be a problem so some people.

Heats up fast!
Iâm not an expert but in my limited experience this has been the best iron/soldering gun I have used. It heated up quickly and did a great job soldering. Be careful as itâs really powerful and may burn thin wires if not used carefully. So far no complaints, just a warning, too powerful if youâre a novice.

Mi papá tenÃa uno desde hace años (duró bien unos 18 años),pero ya no calentaba lo suficiente,asà que le compré ésta nueva versión (que por cierto es más ligero e ilumina mejor)
