Works as it should!
Nice rolls.

Works perfectly
Personally, I’ve had a roll of solder that didn’t work well. And this is no different. Melts easy, cools quickly, flows on the wires/pads/legs fine.

Finally! Thin Lead Free
While not as thin as my super thin leaded solder, it’s the thinnest lead free that I’ve used yet. Thin enough to use on fine pitch chips and passives. Haven’t tried it on µBGA chips yet, though. But that’s kind of irrelevant if it doesn’t work well, right? I’m happy to report that it makes good, clean joints, cleans using normal cleaning methods, and any rework worked well with regular “squeeze bottle” flux. Basically, what you want in spooled solder. (I personally never got the hang of using paste, but never put a lot of effort into it, either.) Some of the boards I work with are made outside and I’m not sure what they’re using for solder, (tungsten carbide?) but cranking my equipment into burn the board territory barely melts it… I’m sure it’s meant for a specific process, but I’m not in the loop on that. Using a tiny bit of this makes it manageable without flooding the board like the others that I have available, and doesn’t change the nature of the board like dedicated low melt. Ironically, the first time that I used it was to repair one of my solder stations.Bottom line? Finally! Thin Lead Free.

Works As Solder Should
I got this because I needed some more soldering wire but I wanted to make sure it was lead-free. Lead solder might be a little easier to work with but I don’t feel the exposure to the lead is worth it when there is an alternative that works just fine for my needs.I should mention that the box comes with two spools in it, each one with 50g for a total of 100g.The wire is smaller diameter than the last kind that I had but since I’m usually working on smaller things like headphone wires and small circuit boards I find it easier to work with. If you need to do big joints you should probably get a beefier size.As for how it works, I had no issues. I’m no expert, just a hobbyist, and I only used it for a small project so far, but it seemed to melt and flow like it should. There is a lot of wire on the spools (at least, given how much I use per project) so it should last me a very long time.To sum up, this is a nice kit of fine, lead-free solder wire. I have no issues or complaints and I recommend it.

Your general solder wire.
The last wire I had was of unknown material. I couldn’t verify if it has lead in it or not, so i opted for this one. It melts easy and behaves nicely, and I have no real complaints with it!

not sure if its structurally affected by not having lead in it, but does whats needed
I’ve used this a handful of times now repairing little toys where the plastics didnt lend well to where the circuit boards were glued in place. they come loose and then causes cables to be loose. the fact this is really thin helps for small solder points.I can’t speak to its strength and longevity. I’m also not sure if it being lead free affects the strength of it. We use a fume extractor so i wasn’t as concerned with its off-gassing. guess i’ll need to research that more soon.

Perfect
Was out of solder and this has been a well used replacement. Easy to work with, melts fast and hardens strong

Works well
I am no expert on soldering and am not that good at it but I repair a bunch of things and sometimes that means doing a bit of soldering. The sample supply that came with my iron finally ran out so I needed some more solder to fix a kids toy that fell victim to our 2 year old. The hot glue used to hold in a speaker gave out and the little hair thing wires couldn’t take the strain. My crummy old iron seemed to have no issues melting the solder, it stuck where it was meant to, and it flowed pretty easy. Managed to replace the speaker on the toy by heating the old one off and then a new one on then even managed to fix the speaker after so it works. The two rolls will probably last me ages for as little as I solder, seems like a good deal for as much as you get.
