Works as it should
Used it twice so far. Was having trouble with what came in a kit.

Great performance
Iâm in the process of re-wiring a century-old theatre pipe organ which runs on 12 VDC. There are hundreds of connections and this solder performed well in helping to bring this antique back to life! The solder melted consistently, flowed evenly, and made a solid electrical connection each time.

Good rosin core lead bearing solder
I needed more solder for some thermal monitors I was building for work, I’m not a fan of ROHS solder, and this looked like a cost effective tin/lead option. I have not been disappointed yet after assembling 20 units. The solder melts easily, flows well, the rosin does it’s job cleaning the interface and helping with wetting, and it makes a good solid joint. Very pleased, will order more when I run low.

Fantastic for general purpose soldering
Use this to work on guitar and other musical electronic soldering, some pcb board work and repairs. 0.8 kinda chunky for any microsoldering but you can make it work if you know what you’re doing. As another reviewer mentioned, this is a thinner taller spool, which is actually quite nice for fitting on the solder holder. 100% recommend this, its great solder.

Middle of road quality
For years I would only purchase radio shack solder rolls, but when they went out of business I began searching alternatives. I do a lot of small soldering work on tiny whoop drones, and I had a chance to compare to my current favorite solder “Yi Lin”. Normally I solder at 300C to ensure the solder doesn’t slowly cook my tip, but temperatures had to be raised for this solder to over 330C, and I still had trouble getting shiny balls consistently.

Been a pleasure to solder with it, so far.
I do lots of electronic repair to circuit boards and I do this often. Soldering since I was about 14 years old, Ive come a long way in the repair tech field of things. One great feature about this particular roll of solder is that it is closely similar to the ChipKwick 60/40 in its melting point, and best of all, the roll is narrow enough to fit MORE rolls on my Ayoue 968A+ repair station solder holder. It still has plenty of wire on the skinnier roll, but is half the width of most other rolls. When working on each pcb, it is essential to have all of your equipment at your fingertips and ready to deploy immediately. That small detail of the roll width alone is enough to make my day so much simpler.Good product all around! Excellent with Kester flux too!

It kinda works
I too had issue with this solder, it seems to not stick so well except for when I solder wires directly like a butt join. I’m not sure what is up, but something is off about this solder. I’d rather use other solder.
