Not all solder is created equal.
This solder is lead free. It means cleanly and goes on really well.I had some cheap solder from the soldering iron kits and that stuff just wasnât good. It did melt easily, but it didnât stick to the board that great, and if you needed to reheat it to desolder, you had to add flux and increase the heat on the iron. It was such a pain to fix my errors.With this, I put it on, I mess up, I go back in and its super easy to remelt and fix. It has plenty of flux already, so I havenât had the need to use any extra flux at all. Not during soldering or desoldering. It just works.

Great
This solder is great. Use it for costume jewelry and it melts well, has great core flux, and makes a sturdy joint. The value is great for the amount you get, just wish they had a 1lb roll.

Great product for hobiests.
I have mixed views on this solder, but over all it is a really good solder and it’s a brand I’ll come back to just grab when I’m out. It runs smooth, and dosnt mess up your tips to bad at all. Its cost effective and lead free. I use it on my proto boards a lot to do solder traces and it runs fine. Normal electronics it’s s grest product. Just it’s a little finicky when doing prototype boards with it because it runs so smooth and it’s not as sticky as it could be. Over all I give it a 5 out of 5 for your everyday hobbiest <3

This is my first time soldering and even without flux it does a great job. It melts at 300 degrees for me with a brand new solder pen.

Iâve been using this solder for about a year now on various hobby electronics projects so I can give a good review on this now.Iâve used this solder for many different applications from soldering heavy gauge liPO battery connectors to smaller electronic circuit repairs.It flows very well and produces strong, shiny joints.There is a good amount of flux in the solder, and if you work reasonably quickly with it you shouldnât need any additional flux.As is the same with all unleaded solder, if you spend too long with this solder melted it will go crumbly and dull, but this can be remedied by adding a bit of fresh solder to freshen it back up.The fumes arenât too bad with this, no strong smells to mention but always worth having some ventilation anyway.I think this roll will last me at least another 2 years yet itâs never ending. If itâs still available then Iâll buy this one again.
