MG Chemicals RA Flux Sn60/Pb40 Leaded Solder is an electronic grade solder wire. It uses a classical tin-to-lead alloy ratio, which is complemented with a RA-like flux core. These solder wires meets J-STD-004 and J-STD-006 specifications. It melts at a slightly higher temperature range than the 63/37 solder. It results in robust and reliable joints that are highly resistant to whisker formation. The RA Flux residues are non-corrosive and non-conductive therefore can be left on the board or cleaned with one of MG’s flux removers.

SUPER EXCELLENT SOLDER WIRE
WOW! EXCELLENT SOLDER. . . I have been soldering electronic circuits and many other electrical circuits since the seventies and I never see a WONDERFUL, GREAT 60/40 Rosin Core Leaded Solder, 0.032″ Diameter. . . For me this brand is the best of the best because when I soldered the first electronic piece to the circuit with the conductor wires, the soldering was immediate, with a clean and shiny appearance making the perfect welding and soldering without imperfections or making cold soldering. It has an excellent degree of adhesion doing the solder of all points and electrical contacts free from any electrical failure. When I took it in my hand I thought, well here is another Tin Lead Rosin Core Solder Wire same as all: But when I put in the tip of my Soldering Station this Solder Wire, it make me swallow my thoughts and I was surprised to see the quality and superiority of welding in the soldering points.I bought 2 of those pocket pack and definitely I will buy more than 3 this week to have them spare parts. . . I RECOMMEND THIS SOLDER WIRE 100% – – – works excellent and melts at a temperature not so high at the tip of the soldering iron. . . . A+: – )

Finally able to solder
I was so happy when I got this mg chemical solder. I have been trying and trying to solder with cheap Chinese solder with horrible results. I got this solder and was very impressed I was able to solder instantly and beautifully highly recommend this solder.

It’s solder and it worked.
I only used a little bit to solder a couple leads to convert a small rechargeable battery from being mounted on a circuit board to an external case made from a film canister, so a total of 4 connections. The solder worked well and had enough flux within that I didn’t need to add any extral.

It’s my go.to
I’m a hobbiest and this is a great value, provides nice clean joints and doesn’t have a bunch of impurities like some soldiers. If I did more work I would likely go with kester.

Good Quality Solder
It’s good solder. It flows great thanks to good quality rosin inside the wire. Melts quick and holds super strong. If you’re looking for small diameter solder for electronics, this is the ticket!

It’s solder. It works. What else can I say. It’s perfect for general soldering. I don’t know about SMT soldering, but it works for DIPs. Perfect.
