Great price
For the price I didn’t expect much. I had like four microphones I needed to rewire and I needed an extra hand and this device really came in handy. Pleased with the way it works.

Pretty basic, but works well
This is a nice starter helping hands set with good magnification and a decent grip. It is a great little set that will get the job done. The design itself is overall pretty basic, but it works well enough. The extra solder is a nice little addition as well.

Handy
Holds the wires really well. I used to lay the wires on a board to solder. What a pain. Now I don’t use as much solder.

It’s okay
Solder is fine, the helping hand is less helpful than it should be. There’s simply not enough heft or size to the base and it’s not stable at all. the gator clips are sprung pretty tight and i’ve had it damage some 20g wire already. The magnifier doesn’t seem to do much.

Works well and great price.
This is a great product and I love the excellent price! Even includes a roll of 60-40 solder that also works well. The magnifier and helping hands clips comes in handy for those occasional soldering jobs that require a precise placement of components on a small PCB or soldering 2 or more components together. I mounted my magnifier on a slightly larger plastic base to add stability.

Great help for soldering
Wasnât quite as big as I thought but was just the ticket for my needs. Even if you are only soldering one wire this works great as it frees up both hands. I heat shrunk plastic on the jaws of the clips because they are pretty aggressive and they grip really well. 60/40 solder is worth the price of the combo. Donât be afraid to tighten up the wobble joints or things will move. Iâll probably add a larger base because it can be a little tipsy.

Great compact magnifying glass for small projects.
Great magnifying glass for small circuit board tickering. Used it when reinstalling a Micro USB port onto a PCB board and proved to be most useful in the process. The clips hold extremely well and the magnifying glass is clean and perfect in vision. The hinges where the clips turn can be adjustable by the knobs in tightness for optimal sturdiness of the clips.

Good value – works well
Product received on time and as expected. The holder is strong metal, glass is clear, holders (alligator clips) work well. It is difficult to tighten or adjust the adjustment holders by hand – using a pair of pliers works well though. I might add some felt or rubber to the bottom of the holder. The solder was thinner than I had expected though it does explain the thickness in the description. Thanks for a nice product.
