Works for me
This was exactly what I needed. I don’t do a lot of soldering so it wasn’t worth it for me to buy a fancy expensive soldering station. This one works great for me.

Really nice, but missing parts…
I really like this thing and would rate it 5 stars, but it’s missing the little rubber covers for the clips. It’s pictures with them but doesn’t have them. Can’t find a way to buy them separately either.Correction, it is not pictured with the rubber covers on the clips. Updated to 5 stars.Otherwise it works well and the light and magnifier are awesome.

The only complaint he has is the Magnifying glass is smaller than he would like and has to be moved too often to view the portion he is looking at.

Nice
3 flexible grabbers are nice to position things for soldering. The base is steady with the rubber feet too.I like the combo light-ring and magnifying glass, but the LEDs seem to flicker a bit sometimes. Not always, but more so on the lower dimming levels. When at 100% it’s fine – actually would be nice if it were a touch brighter, but that’s always the case :)It’s a solid 4 star item.

Packaging (NOT AMAZON) is as expected. Individually wrapped items, ziploc bag of screws and feet. Instructions inbetween.Instructions stratford, screw in helpers, tighten bolt for lap, plug in USB.Bend in arms with helpers to desired position.Magnifier / lamp into position for optimal light.Switch provides three different lighting, each for each different type.Great magnificationPerfect for the value of help. Have had many many different moments at which I wished I had something like this.
