Bakon BK968S Parameter
Full Digital Solder Station: You get not only a soldering station, but also the following essential accessories, solder sucker, tweezers, 5 soldering iron tips, 12G soldering wire, sponge, our full range of products allows you to better handle the entire soldering process for a variety of soldering scenarios.
Practical function: Our digital soldering iron Station has password protection to avoid illegal modification of the settings, and has a sleep function, which prevents oxidation of the Soldering iron, reduces wear and prolongs its service life. With this feature, the soldering iron tips and heating element will last longer!
Compact Design: With a compact body and large display, the Bakon BK968S is unlike other soldering stations in that it has a soldering holder integrated directly into the body of the station, making it ideal for users who have limited desk space but still solder as a hobby. Not only does our soldering station save space, but the holder is also made of high-temperature resistant material for safe storage.
Advanced Temperature Control: Temperature can be adjusted from 356 to 896°F with the control knob on the workstation, and the digital display reads the real-time temperature. Our built-in PID microcontroller quickly calculates temperature compensation to keep the iron head at a set, stable temperature. This allows you to solder more smoothly than with a soldering iron station without temperature stabilization.
High-quality After-sales service:This Soldering Stations uses American plug, please make sure the power cord is firmly connected to the machine. Thank you for choosing our products, we will provide you with the best customer service, such as the product encountered any problems, please contact us in a timely manner, our customer service will be within 24 hours at any time to contact you, the product warranty of one year, free return within 30 days!
Customers find that the soldering station has a good heat control and is easy to use. It gets hot quickly, and the instructions provide low temperature suggestions, but in use they are much higher to melt solder. The station offers good value for money, with a solid build quality and comes with useful tips. They appreciate its appearance and comfort. However, opinions differ on functionality and soldering quality.

What a good find
I’ve been using this for the last few weeks. This has been one solid little setup. This is the natural progression from moving from the toy wand to a proper soldering station. I don’t know what makes a good soldering station, but this must be it. Getting additional heads is pretty simple as it seems to use standard sizes. I love how quickly it heats up and the 10-minute sleep. I found the cord to be flexible enough and long enough. I did put a drop of white paint on the dial where the arrow is so I could see it better.

Great Soldering Station
This station is great. Heat up time is ridiculously fast! 0-300 in a matter of seconds. The temperature control is easy and accurate. I may be old school but I prefer the analog dial over the digital controller. Accessories are ok. Only drawback is the base of the iron stand that holds the sponge is made of plastic so careful when putting the hot tip in as there is a possibility of hitting it and melting plastic on the soldering tip. The part that holds the iron is metal, not sure why the whole thing wasn’t just made of the same thing but that doesn’t effect the function of the station so 5 stars it is. Well worth the money.

A nice station. You get alot for the money and the quality is better than I expected.
This station includes quite a number of useful accessories. There is a nice assortment of tips and the solder is decent quality. I also like the ability to clean the tip two ways. It heats up quickly and I had no problem tinning wires with it. The wand is just heavy enough to use it safely while being comfortable and the cord has sufficient length. I do wish the two parts attached to each other, however. I didn’t try the solder sucker but, from experience, I don’t expect it to work as well as larger suckers with more suction. It should be good enough for non precise work, however. The instructions, while useful, won’t help a novice learn how to solder properly and I took a star away for that.

For the price very good
Let me first caveat by saying that I don’t have experience with high-end hacko it other soldering irons, as I am technically an amateur. That’s it, for what this thing costs, it gets the job done. The solder that comes with it however, not so good. Ended up pitching it. Definitely order yourself some better solder and better flux when you buy this

An excellent temperature-regulated soldering kit that is also affordable.
As a long-time audio enthusiast and general tinkerer, I’ve been soldering wires off and on, mostly on, for most of my life. All this time I did without a temperature-regulated soldering iron. And all of this time I have burned through a good many cheap soldering irons that plug directly into the wall outlet. Never again. I decided to give one of these temp-regulated irons a try because of the number of irons that never worked very well because they didn’t get hot enough, and that died early deaths. It was well past the time that I should have tried something different. So I decided to try one of this irons that don’t plug directly into the wall outlet. The difference, in the ease of soldering, was a night-and-day difference. I had no expectation that this would make soldering so much easier. I was amazed at how much easier it was. The wires heat up perfectly, each and every time, and the solder flows perfectly, each and every time.I chose this particular product, the Bakon 969, partly because I always look for value. This is particular true when I’m uncertain what else I should be looking at. Since I don’t have much reason to pick one over another, I tend to pick the one that looks most affordable. So I picked this one partly for that reason, and as far as I’m concerned I scored a home run. No regrets at all. Perfectly pleased, and only wishing that I hadn’t waited so long to buy something that I should have bought a long, long time ago.

If they’re confused about Celsius and Fahrenheit…
First off, I knew I was buying a cheap soldering station. Secondly, they don’t know how to keep their Celsius and Fahrenheit straight. It heats up, who knows what the right temperature is, I don’t think they even know.Upon initial fire up, following industry normal preparation procedures for first-time use of a soldering iron, this thing was a complete and utter disaster. Before even firing it up, I had asked des manufacturer about warranty. Their answer did not make sense in the world of Amazon. Good luck if you ever need to ask for warranty assistance. I solder things maybe twice a year, but with cheap stations like this, I’m going to need to spend a lot more in order to get a reliable operating device. The owner’s manual also leaves a lot of things unanswered. Typical for a manual that might not have been written by somebody that knows the product. Plugging the product in should leave many questions for the manual writer to answer.A flashing red light does not get explained in the owner’s manual that I have. Usually, a pilot light stays on steady and then flashes when it has reached proper temperature or it flashes until it reaches proper temperature and then go steady. This one, it just stays flashing. If you look at the thermostat, you will see a dual ring temperature gauge. They could have done so much better in getting the Celsius temperatures on the inside ring and the Fahrenheit temperatures on the outside ring and keeping those numbers straight consistently around the dial. Last I checked, Celsius is a lower number than Fahrenheit except on this dial. It’s being returned. My initial excitement considering what came in the packaging has been murdered by the horrible execution of this product. If they would have just made something that stood up a little bit to what the promise was, this would have been fully acceptable. It’s so bad that it is not acceptable.

No joke, just like many others said, within seconds it burnt itself out. The temp control circuit is garbage and sent the thing through the roof. Made a puff of smoke and an audible POP and the ceramic heater was toast…. quite literally. Apparently there have been many others with this same issue. I figured it was an early issue and had been fixed since the initial release but apparently not or they still have old stock they’re selling because I was shocked that this did this. Otherwise this was literally the perfect soldering set for me. The display was very nice and easy to read. The iron itself was comfortable and easy to use. Just the circuitry let it down in a big way. I put in for a replacement but it never arrived. Seller claimed it was out of stock. Just AVOID THIS ONE at all costs. Don’t be like me and think “oh that’ll never happen to me!” It will and you’re just wasting your time. With both trying out this faulty item and by patronizing this seller. Trash trash TRASH!

I upgraded to this soldering station from an old 30w Weller iron I’ve been using for years. The difference is night and day. This iron heats up extremely quickly and holds a steady temperature. The handle is comfortable and lightweight. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality soldering station at a good price.
