Easy to use
It works perfectly for SMD soldering. It heats up very quickly and beeps when it’s done heating up so you know that you’re ready to go.

Not hot enough for HDMI ports
Tried it to desolder an HDMI port from an Xbox series X. Did not get the port enough even at the highest setting, eventually started melting itself, while the HDMI port was still attached. Probably ok for smaller jobs, not for this.

Great
Seems to work pretty well, I was able to despiser components off of a laptop motherboard. It did require using the max temperature setting and preheating the bird. Idk if it means this device is not outputting enough heat or I am not skilled enough. Quality is ok. It doesnât feel like itâs going to explode on you, but also doesnât feel like it will last for many years. It is a great cheap choice for occasional use.

Worked great
Once you figure out how to use it, it worked great for my rework on a printer pcb. You need your other materials but this gets plenty hot and has a cool down fan feature just keep it plugged in when powering down it will care for itself. Great price for the tool

Heating element error right out of the box
Product is not good. Error right out of the box. Item is inoperable. Save your money and get a quality unit. Purchased the item and didnât use it within the return window.

First time turning the solder on there was am obvious hot spot on the barrel turning it cherry pink very quickly. Denise then started sparking before I could even shut it down. Turned back on and now it only blows cold air and shows â5-eâ on screen.Also operating instructions are awful and are half for another device.
