straight up hit or miss
iâve bought 3 of these separately 2 out of 3 did not work1st- lasted 6 months working perfectly fine i broke it on my own accord no battery or hardware issues2nd- straight out the box already didnât work. all the lights flashed funny when plugged it. charged it for 2-3 hours and it would not turn on.3rd- basically the same thing happened but with less flashing. charged it for an hour as recommended and it also would not turn on.the very first one i bought didnât even need the hour charge and worked perfect i donât understand how two separate ones i bought have both been defective. i know its less than $20 but i still donât think is something you should run the risk and waste your money on.

i bought this for a battery for my cart and it works good only problem is that some brands of carts dont work on it and others do (mac oils does not work lol)

Cool little solder iron for car audioâ¦.for a month or 2!. Now itâs flashes purple 3! Times when I turn on the powerâ¦then immediately shuts off. Also the solder that comes with it will NOT stick to anything no matter how much flux goop you use. Anyways, it wonât even turn on now so it doesnât matter anyways.

I’m surprised by how much heat this thing can produce so quickly
I’ve been using it on my bench for a little while and it’s been a decent little soldering iron. I use it when I’m doing more delicate work because the cord on my other one has a chance of dragging and throwing off my steady hand. So yeah, cordless is great. It charges relatively quickly, I haven’t run it out of battery yet but it has lasted long enough to finish every job I’ve used it for so far.So yeah… pretty normal soldering iron use until last weekend… it happened… one of my machines broke down. It’s a very large belt grinder attached to a large steel table… so I can’t really carry it to my electronics workbench for soldering. Normally I’d have to unhook my larger iron from the workbench and grab an extension cord to work on this but I was able to simply pick up the lightweight cordless one and swap out the bad capacitor in minutes. SUPER CONVENIENT!!!Overall though, my favorite feature is the light weight and no cord. It makes precisely manipulating this thing delicately very easy.

I keep it handy in my car
I had never used a cordless soldering iron before, so I figured I would give this one a try. I am pleasantly surprised at how quickly it heats up. I suppose this can be in handy if you are working on a project outside and donât have access to an outlet. Typically, my line of work and hobbies involve PCBs and electronics, so I still prefer my corded soldering iron that I can use comfortably at my workstation.
