Works quite well.
I didn’t know how much I needed a cordless soldering iron until I got one. This little unit works quite well. The kit includes a little stand and sponge, some solder, and some rosin. It will get you going. It has three tips to change out to your liking. I tried the different settings, which are basically low, medium, and high. The lowest setting got me going soldering up a small board, and I had it knocked out in no time.It heats up and cools down both in short order.I’ll probably break this out more than my tabletop unit with fine temperature adjustments.100% recommended.

Battery does not last as long as it says on any mode.
The only reason I got this is because it was rechargeable ive had battery ones I have butane ones and electric. This iron is nice compact gets hot quick but can’t transfer the heat steady. It’s good for very very thin wire repairs and things like that. I couldnt solder a capacitor on a board for the life of me. It would take like 5 mins. Drive me nuts id have to take out the electric iron and hit it for 2 seconds and be done. I also don’t like how there is no safety on the switch. I’m not a safety nut but the button is sensitive and the lightest tap turns it on so id have to remember not to have any tips in it if I wasn’t immediately using it. But I did like how the tips are quick to change. It came with everything you need it is handy just personally not worth the 20+ dollars unless all you need it for is super small hobby stuff r/c stuff maybe. But if your doing board repair or any wire thicker than 22gauge then I’d stick to electric or butane.

Great buy (updated after use)
Quality impressive light project wireless soldering tool perfect for electronic boards and leds you don’t want to over heatUnfortunately I have to digress and share I don’t know if this is a one off case I wanted to love this but after trying to fuse led lights for a cube display I have not been able to complete 8 spot welds in a row before battery dies this thing eats up the battery within minutes can’t return so looking to order a replacement of a different iron too bad

Good for quick jobs
This works well to solder quick jobs and the tips that come with it are small enough that they work well for soldering very small points. That being said, it is a good iron to have in your arsenal but the battery life won’t hold up for a long job. I think the times that it shows in the product pictures for how long the battery life lasts are for when the iron is sitting idle and not needing to reheat constantly during use. So keep that in mind if this would be your only iron in your toolbox.
