Stainless steel is the winning material in my household! I can sanitize these in the dishwasher. They are actually very big and tight in your hand. This allows for a precise grip to finicky fish bones. I used to pull with my fingers, and consequently destroy the flesh of my salmon. Sure, it all went down the same, but it was such an uncivilized way to prepare fish.

robust tweezers
Quality seems really good. Thick, well polished metal. Can’t go wrong with parts from Japan.

Good hand tool at a good price
This is a very well crafted hand tool. Because the tips are hand ground with a grinder, it does not have the smooth machined finish. But the edges are incredibly even and tight. It grips a wax paper so tightly that it cannot be pulled away without tear it.This is a man tool. You need good finger strength to use it. The tips are half inch wide , the opening is slightly less than 1/2 inch and the length is about 4 1/2 inches. As here in American, we mostly buy our fish here filleted, it may not be the most needed tool in the kitchen. But being stainless steel, I can see it as useful in a lot of workshops.Amazon seems to be giving this out to Vine reviewers free and tax free. As of time of review, it says only 3 left for ordering. Grab it while you can. Good hand tools usually don’t come this cheap ($15).

Excellent Japanese Tool, Top Notch Craftsmanship.
I am pleasantly surprised by its performance! Initially, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but this nifty little tool has exceeded my expectations in several ways. The quality of the stainless steel is noticeable right from the start. The construction feels sturdy and durable, promising longevity that many kitchen gadgets often lack. The fine tips are perfectly designed for precision work, allowing for easy retrieval of pin bones from salmon and other types of fish, making it ideal for sushi and sashimi preparation. The craftsmanship is top-notch, typical of Japanese products!

By one for life and use over bulky pliers
These are simple but well crafted tool that you only need to buy once. Polished and finished well, these fish bone tweezers look attractive and well crafted utilizing a rust-resistant Japanese stainless steel. With a tapered inside design, they are easy to grip one handed. As long as you don’t lose them or are a sushi chef, they exude confidence that it will last a lifetime. Wish the contact edges have some additional grip, but if this is the type the Japanese use, I’m good with that.

Very sturdy
These fish tweezers are great! Some fish tweezers are just a bit too stiff when having to clean more that just a few sides of fish and start to make your hand sore. These are firm enough to not feel flimsy, but firm enough not feel like you can get a good grip on the pin bones.

Great grip and easy to pick out bones
The tweezers are quite wide so even the biggest hands can use these bone tweezers. It’s cut perfectly to be able to remove fish bones without an issue to to the amount of pressure applied. There’s a good amount of resistance for it to close and open without you having to move your fingers much so you can easily pick bones without your hand getting tired. Easy to clean.

Chunky, good tip integrity.
A little bigger than I expected (119mm long) . When I hold them up to the light, the entire gripping surface meets at once, and no light gets through.Strong and accurate enough to pull hairs. I have yet to try them on fish, but I don’t expect any issues.
