Great kit, worked well for plastic panels and bumper repair
Good kit – worked well to repair some plastic bumper pieces and parts on our Honda. The metal staples do help increase the sturdiness of the repair and they had more than enough heat to plant into the plastics, plus they were easy to trim the extra length. I will find uses for the kit with my other vehicles for sure, door panels in my truck are up next.

Works great
Bought it to fix a plastic bit on an $80 office chair that was holding the back on. Figured Iâd rather spend a few more bucks to get a useful tool and not have to throw out a chair. The welder is super easy to use and the repair feels very sturdy. Iâm sure itâll pay for itself in the near term

I have done many repairs with this unit since I got it. From dashboards to mower hoods to repairing plastic gas caps. I have installed hundreds of staples/clips so far.PROSEASY to useNICE caseGOOD assortment of clipsGOOD quality of everything. Very well builtCONSCut off end fly and leave behind a very sharp point. Bending breaks them off without the point but is time consumingA LITTLE like threading a needle, not for production workHOLES in handle at 45 deg for clips not drilled the same, one at 45 other at 90. Makes it hard for clips to stay in.It’s hard to find cons. For the money this thing is the bomb! If it died tomorrow I would buy another the same day. I’ve tried other plastic welders and nothing compares to this. It fuses the plastic together and reinforces it with the wire to help keep it together. PERFECT.TIP, if at all possible do the repair from the back side. It does give the effect of stitched in appearance.Overall I give this plastic welder 5 STARS. The many positives way out weigh the few negatives.

Pretty good so far…..
Used this to repair plastic bumper cover. Seems pretty good so far. Heats the staples very quickly and it is easy to place the staples exactly where you want them. I am stapling from the back and planning on grinding and plastic welding from the front. but the bumper is already pretty solid….It will be interesting to see how this machine holds up over the longer term – would be happy to update if that is an option

nice kit
nice setup, the wand is light and easy to handle and the cable is soft enough that it doesnt bulk you down when moving around. the power settings are fast when you move it from 3 to 5, within a minute or so the melter is glowing red. i repaired an old gas tank from a 2010 tiller. the tank didnt leak but i never got the rest of the machine to stay running long enough before i yeeted it. i havnt tried the staples to repair plastic yet, but im sure that will work fine just from what ive seen from the melter head. would be nice if the kit came with some differant types of plastic. i am now looking at all of the plastic i recycle just for supplies for repairs.

This worked perfect to repair a 8 inch crack in the fender of an ATV. Melted clips in about every inch or so then used the blade to smooth it out. Followed that up by using an old fender as a plastic donor and used the blade to melt a layer of plastic over the repair area. All done on the underside. The crack is barely perceptible on the top side and is tough.I was wondering how the blade would work with this kit. Wondering if I would have to buy a plastic welder as well. It works well. No need for anything more for this type of repair.Should have bought one of these years ago. I am done with drilling a bunch of holes and lacing with ss wire. This is way quicker and much more stable.

Plastic welder works beautifully. Heated up very fast so much so that it was too hot for the thin plastic bumper. Had to drop heat down to two. Good unit.

Used it to fix plastic on ATV. Works as described and is easy to use. I had a couple long cracks that needed about 80 staples to fix. The repaired area is very strong. No issues with the product at all. It is silent and the staples get red hot in about 2 seconds. I used it on a medium power setting. I think it was setting 3 out of 5.

Heats up fast. Seems well built and nice selection of staples!! Used it a few times already. Even supplied clippers do ok, but do not cut the staple arms flush .
