Very nice cordless, plastic repair tool!
Wow, I wish I would have had one of these a lot sooner as it would have helped me in a lot of ways when working with or repairing plastics.I’m the type of person who works on just about anything and I get a lot of satisfaction out of fixing or creating things. This tool has already come in handy on a couple of projects I was working on and has saved me a lot of time and headache. What’s so amazing about this tool is the simplicity of how it works. Charge it up, insert one of the many included wire staples and pull the trigger. Of course, there’s a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, you’ll feel like a pro and be able to tackle many jobs. I mentioned it comes with several different types of staples, depending on what you’re working on, and they even give suggestions on which ones to use on what type of repair. There’s an included type “C” charging cord, an instruction booklet and it comes with two square pieces of plastic to practice on, which is a really nice addition. There’s even a set of wire cutters provided to snip the wires off when the repair is done – what more could you ask for!The tool itself is ergonomically designed and fits in the hand very well. There’s a small, LED light on the end to help when you’re using it in a low-light situation. The wire staples heat up very quickly when you press the trigger, meaning you won’t be waiting a prolonged time to make your repairs. As mentioned above, there is a learning curve to using this tool. You don’t just heat the staples until they turn red and then apply them, they’ll likely melt through your work. Basically, depending on the type and thickness of plastic you’re working with, you’ll heat up the staple until it turns red, let it cool to some degree and THEN apply it. The best and easiest way to use (and learn to use it) is to use the plastic, practice pieces or better yet, a scrap piece of the plastic you’re working on. But again, it only takes a short time to get a feel for how to use it properly. I posted a video of the test I did when I first got mine.I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used a propane torch to heat nails, mechanics wire, coat hangers, etc. to try and fix something that was cracked or broken – and I have the scars to prove it. My first drone was probably more metal than plastic for all the repairs I attempted on it! You can get out of the stone age and into the future with this versatile and handy tool. If you work on crafts or do hobby work, this tool is a must have. All said, this is a wonderful addition to any toolbox and something you’ll be glad to have when working with plastic projects or needing to do plastic repairs!

Fixed the plastic cover
I cracked one of my plastic cover under my car and replacing it was going to cost a lot. I figure, might as well try to fix it with this plastic welder. I was able to seal the crack with multitple hot staples and meld the crack together. End result was good and the plastic cover is now in one piece again. All in all, it saved me money and it works just as advertise. One advice is to use this with ventilation since it does generate fumes from the plastic being melted. Being wireless was also nice and made it very portable. It lasted a long time and was able to fix a 12″ long crack.

Fixing Plastic
I have an older lawn tractor with plastic body parts that were breaking apart. Not worth paying hundreds for new pieces, and taping them together was not holding up. Using a plastic welder did the trick. This melts a metal piece into the plastic so it will hold together. Worked extremely well, and feels like it will hold up over time. It does not look half bad either. Is it not as good as a brand new plastic piece, but a heck of a lot cheaper and works just fine.

Great Plastic repair tool
packaged nicely. Includes plenty of hot staples of various kinds depending on your repair job. Mine came partially charged so I tried it with just two lights on and it heated the staple up to red hot in a matter of seconds. They even give you two plastic test squares, which I did use. Works fantastic. You even get a pair of side cutters to cut off the ends of the staple that go into the gun. Seems very well made and being rechargeable you do not have to worry about running an extension cord to use. I wish I had this earlier as I usually just through away and replace plastic items that crack, No longer will I need to do this. Seems plastic items are all you get anymore and some seem to be cheaply made and easily crack.

Pretty great package!
This is an awesome little plastic welder and comes with a ton of extras. I’ve been wanting one of these for a while and I’m glad ingot this one. The wireless is great and it comes woth tons of staples to use and two pieces of plastic to practice with. You do have to keep still and not move around too much and also hold it in place for a few seconds while the plastic cools or you will pull the staple back out but that’s all part of the learning process. I like that it came with some nice wire cutters and everything you need. Overall great package and seems to hold a charge well.

One hot tool!
This has everything needed to repair plastic using a hot stapler. Except the cord! Make repairs when running a power cord is inconvenient. Comfortable in the hand. Easy to control. Quick heat up. Works as it should. Even the cutters are tough! Cut up a few staples and observed no visual damage and cut the stainless-steel staples easily. Has a 1 year limited warranty, a support email address, and a website. Recommended!

Inexpensive cordless plastic welding kit.
I like the fact that this plastic welder is cordless. Very easy to use, I got it to fix a bumper cover, and it worked perfectly! I got a nice join, the staple holding well. The kit is priced about where it should be, any gear head should have one of these in the garage.
