Works great.
I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado. Transmission in this model shift back and forth on itâs over to somehow give u better gas mileage. Well itâs to hard on the transmission and caused my torch converter to go out so that was a heafty bill. I looked into having the switch taken out to make it stop switching gears so much then I found this. It stays in v8 all the time now. Doesnât bother me at all. I love it and it works great ð

AFM
Seems to be a very good product, still working good as it should. And at a good price.

Works great and priced right!
Bought this to hopefully avoid engine damage from GMs ‘great’ idea of kicking down to 4 cylinders in my Silverado.Just plug it in and go!Does what its supposed to. And it was priced lower than most.Overall, great investment.

It works and that’s what matters
Like everyone else I got this to disable the AFM on a 5.3 2011 Yukon XL (211k miles). It does as it says and vehicle remains in V8 mode. I’ve got a few hundred miles on it and all seems to be going well. Engine is smoother, seems to have less piston knock on startup and highway mileage has hand calc’d at 24mpg with this installed.I have not had an issue with battery drain leaving it connected with vehicle sitting in low teen temps outside garage for several days…YMMVIf you have an AFM vehicle I would recommend this.

Does what it should
I’ve had this in my 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 4×4 truck for a year now and its worked perfectly. Its a simple plug-n-play device. I noticed that fuel mileage increased from 14Mpg to 16Mpg in that time. It provides a smoother ride because the torque converter doesnt have to keep switching and it helps reduce wear on the torque converter which is a known issue on chevy/gmc trucks of the third and fourth generations. Overall im happy with it.

Works but intermittently!
This disabler does work, but not all the time. I own a 2016 chevy silverado LT. I installed this in the obd2 port and it lights up fine, it just chooses when to work. Example: I wanted to be able to drop my pickup in drive and go without worrying about the dreaded gm afm. It works fine until 3rd or 4th gear and then, once again, under light throttle it will slip into afm. Lights still lit on the plug… The important part for me was being able to be in my 6th and final gear in my truck so I can still go down the highway at speed. It does fine in 6th gear at 65-70mph, I could never get it to “accidentally” slip into afm.

Wow ,itâs like a whole new truck!
I have a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 base model. 144k miles. It had a vibration which I thought was wheels or transmission and I could feel it shift kinda in all gears but it wasnât too bad.I put this delete into my truck and the vibrations are gone , the poor shifting is gone ! Itâs so much smoother thereâs no vibrations whatsoever. Idles smooth and the engine is so much quieter. I canât believe it .As far as MPG Iâll have to report back when I have it for a little bit. I strongly recommend this to anyone with the AFM!I wasnât home when it came in and itâs so easy to install my GF installed it! lol but itâs a whole different truck!

Eingesteckt und sofort bleibt er auf V8. Bei nmir ist er permanent eingesteckt. Ich habe nicht feststellen können, dass er zuviel Strom zieht.
