Game changer!
I have a pop up canopy with a broken plastic bracket.. I tried to repair it with fiberglass and epoxy resin which worked until the wind blew. I bought this, not really expecting a lot but was pleasantly surprised. Worked great! Easy to use and very strong bond! Well worth the money!

Works like a charm — almost magic, transforms useless cracked plastic into a strong whole again…
Incredibly simple to use and – at least for my application — almost a miraculous fix. I had a set of really nice headphones ($100+) whose plastic earpiece holder cracked, making the headphones useless. I applied a few of the “welding” staples to cracked areas of the plastic; and within minutes, the cracked plastic was stable again and, effectively, completely repaired. You should practice a little on spare plastic, because the hot staples are, well, hot…and it’s good to know how quickly (or not) they’ll “sink in” to the plastic you’re repairing/reinforcing. But very, very simple to use and very effective.

Great Product
Bought a scooter which happened to tip over and cracked the plastic.Aligned all the cracks and used this soldering gun to repair. Worked as expected. All I had to do is touch up the paint.

Fixed our 12â Skeletons
This was surprisingly good. Our 12â Skeletons got hit with wind and broke ribs, shoulders, etc after falling. The welder helped us keep them together and fix joints and plastic retainers. Very helpful!

My Volvo 960 wagon was damaged by a hit and run about a year ago. Unfortunately, Volvo no longer makes a replacement bumper, and I couldn’t find one at the local junk yard after an exhaustive search.It’s inspection time, and I need to put my bumper back on. I purchased the WEP 960V to help me repair the sheared and torn plastic pieces damaged by the impact. I was immediately impressed, the instructions are very good, and the tool is intuitive to use. I appreciated that the manufacturer included a set of cutters for the staples, but they performed poorly and deformed on the first cut. I have other side cutters in my toolbox, so I just tossed the included ones and used my own.For the price, this was a tremendous buy, and I can see myself tackling a bunch of additional plastic repair projects that I have been putting off.
