Rusted Anvil
Most of the tools I’m pleased with. The dapping tools, blocks, and rods work well and are well shaped. I haven’t tried the oval ones yet but am looking forward to them.HOWEVER. The anvil arrived rusted. Not only that but there are marks where it looks like maybe it had been cut out? This makes it useless for the shaping that I want to do because it leaves those marks on the inside of what I’m hammering.

Why? There is usually a difference ever so slight in scales of things made around the world applied to jewelry. So it is helpful to have as many different styles around the shop as possible. Look, take if from someone who worked metals from silver and gold to steel on a forge, use the tools! Your body will thank you when it comes time to hang up the apron. Good tool set to add in.
