The Hakko CHP 105-SA pattern 105 fine shaft tweezers have a curved shaft, flat tips, and smooth grip for use in electronics assembly applications. The curved shaft and 2.5mm-wide flat tips ease vertical handling of surface mount device (SMD) components and small outline transistor (SMT) packages. The non-magnetic stainless steel construction resists corrosion. The tweezers is 4-3/4″ (120mm) long.
American Hakko Products manufactures soldering and desoldering tools. The company, founded in 1984, is headquartered in Valencia, CA.

You get what you pay for…
Very happy with these esd tweezers. They pick up smd components with ease making repairs much easier. Precise and non-magnetic.

I guess I expected more
Halo makes fantastic products. These tweezers are sold by Hakko but made by CHP products. They work I just expected higher quality from Hakko given my previous purchases. The tweezers appear hand made to eyeball tolerances. The problem is that the and parts are so small that you notice subtle difference between each half of the tweezers when picking things up. The tool pads are different widths. Iâll keep them until I find a better tool.

Excellent T-head tweezers
The tips are little rectangular strips at right angles to the legs forming a T shape. Good for grabbing surface mount electronic components firmly by two sides. Tips mate perfectly. Finish on legs is buffed to a satin grain as is typical for this kind of tweezer. Yet the 7SA shape has a bead blasted texture which is less slippery and I really like. Magnetic where the two legs are joined together (maybe a ferrous solder was used?), non-magnetic body and tips. Made in Italy.

Not a fan of these for SMD work
I had hopes that these would be my go to tweezers for SMD work. Sadly that turns out not to be the case.

The bees knees
The best for reball. Just saying.

These are sturdy tweezers, however, for the price I expected better quality.
Sturdy, but for the price I expected better alignment of the tips (see pic)
