Has all the necessities
This set would make a great gift for anyone you know that does electronics. It has everything you need to get started if you are a beginner but is a professional type of setup. The iron itself is worth it but the accessories are a bonus.

Great once you figure it out.
Great little all in one kit for beginners. Easy to set up and works well. I got really confused first trying it out because the heat shield that holds the head to the ceramic heater got stuck up inside the silicone sleeve so i thought the unit was defective. Turns out the unit was fine, but the operator needed some work. I would have appreciated a little bit of a better box for storage but no complaints with the tool itself.

Great soldering iron kit
This is a great kit and had many things you might need to get you started soldering. However, many competing kits with a base station or holder for the soldering iron. That adds an extra expense necessary for use of this item as I would not feel confident just laying the iron on its side. I am clumsy and have a tendency to bump my table. But you can get those relatively cheaply, which I did. The iron itself performs very well is easy to use. I didnât attempt to measure the accuracy of the temps but it seems like it works well enough to me. Itâs nice that it includes a sponge and soldering wick. I didnât use the included solder since I needed something thinner for leds on keyboard pcbs. I also like the included tips to allow for use in different situations. This isnât as good as some more expensive kits out there, but you also wonât be able to find anything remotely as good as this at this cost.

Good starter soldering iron, rest of the kit is almost adequate
For the cost, I wasn’t expecting the soldering iron to be as good as it is – which isn’t great as much as it’s able to put out enough heat to solder and desolder grounding wires on large metal plates. I did have to use the maximum heat setting for that task, and give it some time to heat up the tip (you would normally have to do this anyway except for the very strong irons). The handle is comfortable, temperature control and power buttons work fine, and the included tips are adequate. The heating element doesn’t appear to be replaceable.For the rest of the kit, there is an okay amount of solder wire (that’s the silver coil in the plastic tube), a spool of desoldering wick, and a barely adequate stand. Other than the stand, the kit is all right, but I cannot recommend using the stand. It’s really tiny, slides around, and doesn’t put your soldering iron in a particularly safe orientation. It also has a tiny sponge for cleaning the soldering iron tip. I recommend using a different stand, but the rest of the kit is pretty good for light usage.

Light Weight, Heat Up Quickly, Has ON/Off Switch, Convenient Set Easy to Use
This soldering iron kit set is a good value with convenience. It has a little stand, flux, five spare tips, and temperature control with indicator that fulfills almost all you need. I use it for electric components soldering and it works well. It heats up quickly, and could easily be seen and adjusted with temperature control (+ or -) button. The original tip that comes with it is the one I use most. Other tips are great for different purpose and is really handy. I like that it comes with a silicon cover to protect the tip. I would advise wait until the soldering tip is completely cool down before putting the sleeve on. Also don’t try to turn with the sleeve on as it will turn the nut of the soldering iron inside, just pull the sleeve out gently.Pros: Easy to use, good temperature control and on/off function.Cons: The stand could better be made a bit wider, deeper, and heavier so as to prevent slipping off.Overall: Its quality is high, features are good. I am very happy with it. Would recommend.

I had to run this thing up all the way to max 500c on the display before I could even get it to melt the solder. I thought it might have been crappy leadless solder that they included, so I dug out some 60/40 solder and it was about the same. It also does not act like a 90W iron mabey a 20w because with the large tip and trying to solder 10awc wire with the iron turned all the way up it just could not do it. 60/40 melts at approx. 365c and the iron did not start melting until 450 indicated on the iron. Unfortunately I don’t have an accurate way to measure the tip temp. Also with usage of about 10 min the handle starts to get quite warm. Maybe it’s defective, Cannot recommend.Update: Company reached out to me and sent a replacement. Kudo’s for having great customer service This second unit works as advertised. I still question whether or not it’s 90w as it still struggles if your trying to heat up something with a lot of mass like 10awg wire onto a large copper pad, it can do it but takes longer than it should. Running at a higher temp and using the biggest tip will help. 3 stars added back..

L’ho acquistato come saldatore di scorta ma appena l’ho utilizzato e verificato il funzionamento e la velocità di riscaldamento , l’ho uso in modo esclusivo e messo da parte gli altri saldatori. Ha un’ impugnatura decisa , antiscivolo ed è leggerissimo. L’ho usato per riparare delle vecchie piastre cassette audio e mi ha favorevolmente soddisfatto in termini di precisione, velocità e pulizia delle saldature. A corredo ci sono altre cinque puntali a seconda degli usi, una protezione in silicone per il puntale, un rotolo di stagno, una treccia per saldatura ed un supporto con spugna, quest’ ultimo secondo me potevano farlo meglio perché é leggero e la spugnetta é minuscola.A conti fatti lo consiglio in tutti i casi , sono rimasto veramente soddisfatto.Spero che questa recensione sia stata utile.Ciao
