Must have for soldering or working with small parts.
This is a replacement for a mat I had. I had a IPA spill on the old one and created a big lump in the middle. I rely on this so much so I replaced it. After I ordered the replacement, the damaged mat went back to its original condition as if it was never damaged .These are very durable, great for organizing parts. I use this to repair pocket watches on, and it has saved me a lot from small pieces flying as it sticks to the surface instead of bouncing off.

Perfect Hobby desktop
Great for my model train work. Can store small items, stick small tip screwdrivers in to material to hold them. Color is great allowing high contrast with small parts to more easily find them.

Good mat for starter work
I got this so my 3 year old grandson and I could have a safe surface to work on his stuff. He had disassembled his ‘lite bright’ in an unguarded moment when his dad had left a small screw drive laying on the floor of the garage. His mom told him if he could not get it back together she would throw it away and he said ‘I got it. I got it. I need light momma.’Handles the sharp edges, keeps things from Bouncing like it was made of Flubber (Absent Minded Professor). Great for protecting the floor when Grandson decides to use hammer on wooden toys as well.

Field repair mat
I use this product to do on the field repair and to disassemble parts onsite. The silicone material protects the counter tops. I like the many compartments and magnetic features. It comes in handy when taking things apart. Its bright enough that you can see your screws no matter how small. I am glad I bought this mat, it makes my job easier and more professional. I wish it came with a case so that I can keep it clean. Other than that, I really glad that I bought this product.

Nice, cost-effective mat. I like the three little nooks with lids that could be used to fit loose screws or anything that you need to organize. It may take a little time to settle and be properly flat, but it’s heavy enough to feel like a trusty work surface. Recommended!

This is larger than I expect which is a plus and it is thick too. It’s rubber is stick on my desk without sliding around, and it’s placement of different pocket, screws area are very good.

This is a good product with a good size. It has magnets to keep the tools and screws in place. However, the covers for the three compartments on the top do not stay closed and are a bit useless. But everything else is just fine and I donât care about those covers. I recommend it.

Haven’t used it yet but feel like a good quality mat. The compartment lids do fit but easy to pop out. Magnet seens a bit weaker than expected. Some say the mat can be out of shape from shipping. I will agree to some degree. Mine was bad at all, only has a minor bent at the corner from the fold from shipping. After laying out on a flat surface but the the corner hanging out. It bends it back to shape after a few days. Otherwise, no problem.
