It works. No problems.
I work on amplifiers, guitars, circuit boards, you name it. An extension cord may be needed. I also ordered thin solder to use and not the hard shine stuff. Not bad at all and the price is good.

Made in China, serves my purpose.
I have only used it a couple of time so far, but it seems to serve my purposes. No idea how long it will last. My only criticism is that the light that is supposed to illuminate the work doesn’t shine at the spot where the tip does the work, seems to be aimed wrong and I don’t know if that can be adjusted, so it’s pretty useless, but beyond that it seems to get the job done.

Soldering Gun
This solder gun failed to heat up after a couple of times. I was still able to return it for a full return. Look for something better like a Forney or Weller soldering gun.

Got weaker
I bought it as a hot knife. It worked great for a few years but now seems to have lost 80% of its âoompfâ. Was good for a 3-4 years of light usage for this purpose. Now it would take forever to solder anything and makes a mess trying g to cut fabric. I loved it when it was new. Not bad for a cheap device. But I would like my tools to last forever. Especially when this simple a tool that should never break

The information for this item not true , the item is 110 volt and it’s not compitable with Australia output ,the seller keep telling me I give you discount ane never realised there is no use unless you spend more money to get transformer .
