Very handy to have around
This is a very handy item to have around. I have already used it to fix an issue with a small lighthouse I have. The soldering iron worked great and my lighthouse works again. I am so happy. I haven’t yet used the part that removes solder, but that is next to try out. I haven’t ever had a soldering iron that had that capability so I’m looking forward to it. It did take some time to figure things out and I had to look at another review for help with that. Make sure you plug it into a good power source….in the wall or a multioutlet plug. It doesn’t work if you plug it into something like the lamp in my 4th picture, but it does work if you plug it into a multioutlet plug or in a charger directly plugged into the wall.

Decent kit
I wanted to like this a lot, and do like it..but there are some things that could be better. The good…1. Comes with everything you need for a soldering project. Even a cute little stand with sponge.2. I love the size. I have never held such a lightweight soldering iron.3. It gets fast HOT. A positive, but also a warning. I turned in on for what couldn’t have been more than a couple seconds and burnt my finger.4. Comes with 3 different precision tips that are easy to swap out.5. Even comes with a charging block… I generic charging block that has two USB connections and various tips for international needs.My issues1. Instructions are micro-printed, and look like one big run on sentence. You can wade through and get the important details, but you will need some extra strong readers.2. It came with two different spools of solder, neither is marked as to what type it is.3. The little stand, though cute, is annoying. A bit bigger would make it easier to use.By far, the goods out weigh the bads, but does impact my overall rating.

Works well for precision soldering, nice accessories
It’s a pain to try to use a large soldering iron on smaller circuits, for tiny parts and during very precise electronics projects. I have wished I had a more precise tool in those situations, so when I found this mini portable soldering iron I ordered it right away!I was eager to test it out and run it through all the paces.FIRST OFF – IMPORTANT TO KNOW: By “portable” they mean “small, compact and lightweight”. It does NOT mean it’s cordless!This soldering iron has to remain plugged in with a USB-C or USB-A powerful enough port at all times (both are included).It’s very light though, and easy to maneuver in tight spaces even with the cord plugged in. Plus if you can only bring the iron itself, you can most likely find a charger and compatible USB cable almost ANYWHERE you go these days..The iron itself heats up way faster than larger irons, but of course doesn’t hold as much heat so very large solder jobs will take longer, and won’t go the same speed as larger irons would, but I’ve found it to melt smaller connections within seconds very reliably.For very detailed work this has been awesome and works GREAT, and I keep this in my tool bag at all times now. I love that it works with any C210 tips, plus 3 of the best ones are included in the kit.Speaking of accessories – I feel they really went above and beyond with what’s included in this kit. It includes lots of extras, basically everything you’ll need to start and need for while (although I recommend getting a heat resistant silicone soldering mat with magnetic part pads as well, they are amazing for keeping track of all the tiny parts used in precision work.The kit accessories:-2 coils of decent solder-Solder suction removal tool (which actually works better than my old one!)-3 tips, long 6Amp USB “A-to-C” power cable-brillow pad iron tip cleaner with aluminum storage can,-basic fold-up iron stand (kind of difficult to fold down, mine snapped a little after a few uses)-AND a 65W multi-port USB-A/USB-C power brick that also comes with a SECOND USB “C-to-C” power cable.Where a lot of sellers might oversell a product then underdelivers, this Larlarsa mini soldering iron actually OVER delivered in my opinion – so I definitely highly recommend it!

Misleading advert. NOT wireless
First off this is NOT wireless…so not very portable. The advertisement goes into good detail about supporting phone chargers and fast charging protocols and even comes with a “65W FAST CHARGER”, when in fact there is nothing to CHARGE at all. It is simply the POWER SOURCE CORD. This iron has to be plugged in to operate, so have fun dragging around an extension cord if you want to port it anywhere besides your desktop. It is “portable” in so much as ALL Irons are PORTABLE, you just may have to tote around the control box too. It’s tiny; about the size of a marker and has poor heat transfer. When we’re working in the garage bay we just use a wood burner with a soldering tip, it’s just as small, heats better than this, and still has a cord to drag around.
